I'd like to note that you said GUARDS the fifth star, and I can't help but see Johnny Jones and his cohorts standing in front of it. I also said right after Johnny Jones' name that Yaridovich steals it from you.

Barrel Volcano, Johnny Jones (but Yaridovich steals it from you), and you meet Zombone just as you're about to get the sixth star because you THINK you've beaten Czar Dragon (and he's hard enough to be considered a boss fight). That's the only reason I can really think of... |
