I also HATE FCE Ultra, or whatever.
It runs horribly slow on my computer, and only works with 1 extra game, compared to Nesticle and Nester.
I love Nester and Nesticle equally, but Nester is more simple, and while it doesn't work with everything, it uses very little processing.
FCE Ultra lags at 1x slightly, and at 2x, it's unstandable. And, I can play full-screen SNES games! That thing isn't processing right or something. O.o |

Nestopia for most purposes. A few games don't work right, but for the most part, I love Nestopia. And I absolutely cannot stand FCE Ultra, for which I cannot comprehend how it's gotten so immensely popular. |

I'm partial to RockNES X myself, though I've had pretty decent computers to use it on as well (And in spite of the fact that it caused my family comp running WinME to freakout...) |

I use nnester and fceu. fceu is a back-up incase nnester won't run a rom. |

A shame they used Gaiden's battle system.. But geez! That's impressive for a pirate.. Hmm.. Tempted to play it.. Be nice if it were translated though. |

I agree with you on R.E.G. I ain't like that game either. But Bio Hazard is pretty decent, even if it's a pirate. So far the game is the same as the PS1 version, all items are in the same place that is. |

Yeah Colin, Here's the pics of Bio Hazard
It woulda been hot if someone was to translate this into english...
That looks a lot like that extremely un-fun GBC game Resident Evil Gaiden, so I take it this isn't the best game ever.

I switch between FCEU and Nestopia. Fceu for its anti-aliasing (right? the blurred look I mean. good colors too.) and Nestopia for its rasted look and rapid fire! Pew Pew! Dow dow dow. |

Yes, rocknes can be quite slow, but it doesn't have many compatibility issues. I only use it for the local netplay. |

OK, THAT one's interesting. No idea how much of the game they fit into THAT.
Most emulators aren't that complex for the NES... for some of them, all you need to know is how to load a ROM and set controls.
You mean Sweet Home? Yeah, that's supposedly a Resident Evil precussor.
It's sort of based on a japanese movie, and features some guys running around in a mansion avoiding evil stuff.
Fun little game, definitly worth playing. |

I use FCEU all the time... all of the other ones were just a BIT too confusing for me. |

NEStopia gives me my jollies. At this point, it does everything that I want and I only have to go to FCEU for DD's hacks. |

I've gotten into FCEU since it does what I need it to do. Enough features to satisfy my needs.
I've never gotten NES netplay to work, yet SNES (through ZSNES) is a breeze. |

I would stick with Fce ultra in meantime, yes FCE ultra is abonden but it's the best I have seen yet.

FCEU definitely for your compatibilty and emulation quality. The only thing about Jnes is it has the embedded Kailerra support, so you could play online. However Rocknes has a built in interface for online play, and its probably the best you going to get. |
