"Ohhhhh, no you don't," Schwa says, still in his handstand. "I still want to spar with you a little. I activate Psychic Earth attack!" The cream-colored ether around Schwa's hands disappears, and after a mysterious rumble a white beam of light erupts from the earth right under the fleeing Mathius! This beam paralyzes him for quite a while.
In this time, Schwa gets out of his pose, runs inside, and does some amazing things. What those things are remain a mystery. He comes back out of the ruins, emitting an aura of energy.
"There, I've stored the energy within my heart. You're right, it was a statue." Paralysis wears off. "Sorry to keep you still, but I'd really like a sparring match with you now that my mission's complete. What do you say?" |

" oh do you mean that gold statue in there if that is what you came for then i shall not bother you anymore," Mathias runs off into the woods not willing to fight his opponent anymore. |

"For you to understand, you must know the nature of a psi warrior. Every time the moonlight shines upon the dimmensional core of the Crystal Psipalace, I am given a Worth Mission. This mission must be completed before the moonlight disappears from the core, which takes about one day. If I pass the mission, I am granted the power to learn new special abilities. If I fail the mission, well, nothing bad happens, but it takes a looooong time for that moonlight ceremony to happen again.
"This time my mission is to retrieve a certain kind of spiritual energy radiating from the ruins. I'll store it in my heart, bring it to the psipalace, where Sensae will enfuse it with me. I have until tonight to complete this mission, so if you'll excuse me and just let me inside, we can both get through this a whole lot faster."
The whole time, Schwa stays in his handstand. Cream-colored ether is gathered around his hands, and is flaring up brilliantly. |

OOC: Well, actually psychic power doesn't leave cuts, it stings the mind. But since you explained what happened, I'll go along with the battle now...
As Mathius darts behind Schwa, Schwa does a quick handstand and horse-kicks behind him with both his feet, hopefully blocking the swing.
"Wow, you're fast! I didn't think you'd be able to move so fast since, you know, you spend all day sleeping in the ruins... Does it get lonely being the guardian for a pyramid?" Schwa's handstand is perfectly staright now, and he doesn't attack yet.
At first, Schwa thought Mathius was just a monster left behind to guard the secret treasures left in the pyramid. Now he suspects there's more to Mathius than just that... |

OOC: Oh come on, you know I was at point-blank range when I fired, just like you were when you fired. How can you not dodge, but have them still miss?
You have to tell me exactly what happens to every one of my attacks. Number 1 rule in Sim-Battling. I think I do a pretty good job of being descriptive, and it's only fair that you're descriptive as well.
Rephrase the post so it's descriptive. Thank you. |

OOC: That's a little hard to read. Proper grammar.
"Whoa, he's fast! EtherShield!!!" Schwa quickly folds his arms across his chest, and Schwa's whole body becomes encloaked with blue, spiritual ether. The blast of energy hits Schwa milliseconds later, but is 90% absorbed by the protective ether.
The ether then disappears, and Schwa is nearly unharmed. "Fool. I can absorb energy attacks, and convert them into mana. Though I still take minimal damage, I suggest if you want to fight me that you are a little more careful in offense. Psi warriors, as I should point out, specialize in defense. But that doesn't mean we're not powerful."
Schwa holds his hands up, and they become surrounded in blue ether. "Take this," he says calmly. Thusting his right palm forward, Schwa launches five powerful rings of psi energy out of his hand, which will hit the guardian in various areas. The rings do holy and psychic damage. After the attack, Schwa does 2 backflips to get away from the foe. |

All of a sudden a flare of energy surrounds mathias and a shockwave distroys the worm and with a blink of an eye he is in front of schwa and fires at him with a point blank shot of energy |

Schwa sighs. "You have a lot to learn. Charging a foe is not the way to start the battle. Your problem is that you show too much of your tiger and not enough of your dragon." The cat monster closes in with the dagger, but at the last second, Schwa disappears in a blink! Not in teleportation but in pure speed, Schwa has dodged behind the guardian... and now he grabs one of the Silk Coccoons, points it at the guardian's back, and squeezes. Out of the coccoon fires a large, cute worm that lands on the guardian's back, and buries his head in the back of the guardian's neck!
"Hurts, huh? Told you they were useful. That worm will suck out your HP until you take care of it. It was nice battling you, but I think I'm going to complete my mission rather than stick around." Schwa struts over to the ruins enterance, preparing to enter... |

Schwa stares at the monster. "A pyramid guardian? Hmm, I guess I was wrong. If someone else were to try and claim the energy, they'd get sliced n' diced. But not me."
Schwa walks a little closer to the guardian. "You look cranky from lack of sleep. Perhaps there could be a negotiation. Let me into the pyramid and I'll let you have some of my travelling wares." Schwa holds open one side of his white, loose, robish uniform, revealing useful wares. "Normally I don't carry wares around, but since I'm on a safari right now I must learn African barter. That's what Sensae told me. Here are three Silk Coccoons, useful to wield in battle. They're yours if you let me pass."
Schwa thinks to himself, "I hope he doesn't think I'm testing him. He looks powerful but he can't be much of a match for psychic power and the power of the soul." |

in the shadows cristlline blue eyes are seen and then all of a sudden a cat like creature appears out of nowhere and shouts "Who dares disturb my slumber?"
by the looks of this creature he is very powerful and looks like a gaint human with pointy ears a long tail and cat like eyes he roars from the enterince of the ruins "Leave this place or i will have to use my claws!" at this point me usheathed 3 foot long claws on eatch finger And laughs

Schwa the Psi Warrior ventures through the jungle, following the source of energy he can sense. At last, he reaches his destination. Turning to his companion, he says goodbye. "Nice travelling with you, and thanks for saving me from that tiger den."
"No prob'. G'day, mate," replies the Aboriginee-like explorer as he makes his way back home.
Schwa creeps ahead a few steps, and there it is. The massive ruins of an ancient jungle pyramid! A telepathic ping echoes from it inside Schwa's mind. Schwa was sent here by Sensae on a Worth Mission to discover the secret of this ruins. But Sensae warned Schwa about a battle he'd have to fight as well...
"Hmm, I wonder if someone else will try and claim the energy before I do?" Schwa thinks aloud...
OOC: To Mathias... I know you're a little new to the Battle Arena-- just explain how your character enters the battle and it starts. |
