i can't remember very well, but i think i've made the first one in about 2 hours. i've drawn only some random lines, and then i used some selfmade scriptfoo plugins. the last touch was added with some filters. i can't remember the other ones. |

Why confuse everyone with the filenames when you can clearly see in your first post that the last one is s4.png, logically enough. Doesn't matter why they got the name. They have it. I don't know why you have "s" there but I don't care, it's just a filename 
So, you made the small one that says Setrodox on, in five minutes? Given.
Want to share on how you made the other ones and approx how long they took? Some info would be nice, it's always fun to know. |

i needed four images for my four virtual desktops, and i had only five minutes remaining until my friends came. i wanted to show them my four desktops with different bg's made by me. so i did the last one in about five minutes. you may ask why the fourth image is called s3.png. the reason is because i saved the third image accidently as s4.png. and no i never use guides, i've learned everything by doing. |

1, 2 and 4 is good. But there's something wrong. If you made 1 and 2 and 4 you can't possibly have made 3 since that sucks. Either you used a guide or a filter for the other ones or .. I don't know what
Does Gimp still have fiftyfive billion windows when you open it? One for each palett etc, if it does, it still sucks. I think the interface on most linux based programs suck, gimp, dia, etc. They all have the boxy feel to them, sterilized, grey, so ugly.
Right clicking to apply filters, save and other stuff is so unpractical too.
Besides, Photoshop is free too  |

good idea FreeDOS. i mean both ideas. maybe i really make an avatar out of the image. and the banner idea is really good. what's about a banner saying something like "no photoshop, only the Gnu Image Manipulation Program(it's free!)" |

My favourite is the first one. The second one you may be able to crop out the text, shrink it, and use it as an avatar... 
There should be a 'Made with GIMP' banner... hehe. To show off to to n00bs (and others) that the GIMP is often underratted... |

it isn't easy to add lines to it, it's easier do redo the image. maybe i'll make a new version of this image when i got time |

The top one looks good, would look better with a few more colours . The other ones i dont really like so much but add a few colour lines to the top one . |
