Isaac (Golden Sun)
Jump Description: Hops once, then hops a second time while feet surrounded by an amber colored aura?
Normal A - Gaia Sword swipe A second, third, or continuous combo - a couple of slashes followed with an aura-coated jab A (while dashing) - Sword Jab Left or Right+ A - Move (Psynergy, a waek force knock the opponent) Up + A - Lift (Psynergy, a weak force knocks the foe slightly upwards) Down + A Grab (Psynergy, disallows foe from moving very temporarily) Left or Right+ A (smash) - Bash (Uses arms to ram foe) Up + A (smash) - Gaia Sword powerfully stabs upwards Down + A (smash) - a break-dance like move where the body spins upon the ground with the sword in hand
Aerial A - horizontal slash with Gaia Sword Forward A - Slashes downwards Backward A - spins back and slashes Up A - upward slash with Gaia Sword Down A - like Link's Down A.
Throws A or Z hit while grab - Psynergetic Skull-bash (uses auroa from forehead to attack? :p) Up - Carry (Psynergy) Down - Throws down and stomps Forward - Psynergy throws foe forwards Backward - swee above, only backwards
Special B - Hold down, Flint (Djiin) charges up slowly. Depending on how long B is held, upon release, Flint is released as his standard attack form, or one of three summonable creatures (Venus) depending on the length of B held. Forward B - hold B, Force (Psynergy, shoots a powerful ball of energy depending on length of B held) Up B - Jagged rock shoots up under enemy..well, presuamably in front of character (forgot exact attack name x__x) Down B - Recover, perhaps?
I cant really think of much for him right now, but there are so many ways a golden sun character could be great in this game. |

Name: Ryu (From Breath of Fire 5: Dragon Quarter)
Like Zelda/Sheik, Ryu has 2 forms, too: His human and Dragon forms.
Jump description: Somersaults into the air, gets a small firey boost on double jump (from his dragon powers, of course )
Normal: A- Horizontal slash with Ranger Blade A Combo- Doubleslash, followed up with a hearty stab. A (while dashing)- Stab with Ranger Blade Left or Right + A- Spinning slash with Ranger Blade (Like Link's cyclone-ish attack.) Up + A- Stabs Ranger Blade up into the air (like how Roy does with his Sealed Sword) Down + A- Stabs at the opponent's feet with Ranger Blade. Double damage if used on a smaller character because it hits them in the head.
Aerial: A- Horizontal slash with Ranger Blade Forward A- Vertical slash downward with Ranger Blade Backward A- A backflip kick in midair Up + A- Upward slash with Ranger Blade Down + A- Downard slash with Ranger Blade
Throws: A or Z hit while grab- Punch in the face with hilt of Ranger Blade Up + A- Ryu throws the opponent up, then attacks with a vertical slash. Down + A- Ryu throws the enemy on the ground and Stabs the Ranger Blade downward. Forward + Backward- Ryu throws the enemy. Nothing special.
Specials: B: Crimson Raid- Hold B to charge energy. When you attack with it, it does normal damage, but depending on the amount charged when attacking, a portion of Ryu's damage is restored (when fully charged, it heals 100% of the attack damage). Forward B: Deathcleaver- deals a lot of damage, but Ryu takes 10% of it and is stunned for a second. Up + B: Accession- Transforms into Ryu's Dragon form. (I chose the BoF5 version of Ryu because it looks the most "human" of all the dragon forms.) Down + B: Deathbringer- VERY slow attack in which Ryu stabs the Ranger Blade into the ground, causing a small explosion that knocks enemies up and does average damage.
Ryu- Dragon form
Jump Description: Only has one Jump, just hold the jump button and Ryu can fly for a limited amount of time. (about as much as Yoshi)
Normal: A: Punch A Combo: Punch, Punch, kick combination A (while dashing): Uppercut, good to set up combos with. Left or Right + A: Roundhouse kick Up + A: Slashes upwards with his claws Down + A: Floor sweep with his tail. Smash A: Uses Dragon Breath, but leaves Ryu stunned. Up + A (smash): Looks up and breathes Dragon Breath, dealing damage to enemies above him, but also stuns Ryu. Left or Right + A (smash): Powerful roundhouse kick
Aerial: A: Roundhouse kick in midair Forward A: Leans forward and strikes with his claws. Backward A: Smacks opponent with tail. Up + A: Swings tail upward. Down + A: Breathes Dragon Breath on enemies below him, but stuns Ryu for a second.
Throws: A or Z: Claws in the eyes. Up: Grabs opponent with tail, flings upward. Left or Right: Grabs opponent with tail, flings to either side. Down: Grabs opponent with tail, slams on the gound, in which they bounce into the air, setting up some good combo opportunity.
Specials: B: Vortex: Powerful punch that hits the opponent and knocks them into the air. Left or Right + B: Hurricane: Uses wings to create a small vortex with a short range. Does a good amount of damage. It's like Jigglypuff's Rest, but with weaker attack and a bit bigger range. Down + B: D-Charge: Increases the amount of damage the next attack can do by 150%. It can be used up to three times in a row before attacking, but doing that takes a long time. Up + B: Cooldown: Reverts to human form.
...Wow, that was a lot of typing. Hope ya like it! |

MetalBlueKirby
Char Name: MetalBlueKirby Jump Description: Croucnes, and then launches into the air.
Normal A: Repeated Metal Slam Throw Punch (reaches out, grabs enemy, slams, punches, slams, punches, slams, punches, throws) A second, third, or continuous combo: Tackle (launches itself at enemy, grabs, slams itself and enemy down to the ground, damages both) A (while dashing): Running Metal Kick (runs at enemy, kicks with a very solid, hard metal foot (ouch)) Left or Right+ A: Weight Slam (jumps up and slams down on enemy) Up + A: Upward Punch (punches upward) Down + A: Ground Spin (spins on ground and hurts enemies) Left or Right+ A (smash): Mega Metal Punch (Charges up and lets loose! He looks like (obviously) a metallic blue Kirby, only he has a face! And he's blue-shaded. Nice, huh?

Colin: We're not Nintendo. Therefore, while it's likely Nintendo will only use characters they're licensed to use, we don't have that limitation. That, and what NSNick said.
I'll make a second one later probably, likely Geno or Mallow.
Red Mage
Jump Description: Like Yoshi, he only has two jumps. The first is a basic jump into the air, while his second is more of a slow teleport that covers as much distance as Yoshi's second jump.
Normal A - Dagger slash, 4% A second, third, or continuous combo - Second dagger cut, stab, multistab; 3/5/1 A (while dashing) - Running Knife Stab Left or Right+ A - Staff Thwack, 10%. Whap someone in the head with a White Mage's Staff Up + A - Staff Arc, 8%. An arc overhead with a Staff. Down + A - Hook Trip, 3%. With the curve of the Staff, grab someone's leg and pull them down to the ground. While it does little damage, it ALWAYS makes an opponent fall down if it hits. Left or Right+ A (smash) - Slash, 15-20%. Draw a sword, slash with sword. Hit A again for a second strike with the sword for another 10-15% damage, like Link's forward Smash Up + A (smash) - Sidestep Strike, 18-22%. Step back from an incoming enemy, and then use a jumping vertical slash against them. Can Meteor Smash foes at an edge. Down + A (smash) - Red Blade, 12-25%. Duck down and spin, slashing at all foolish enough to approach. Covers front and back. Aerial A - Rod Hit, 2%. Randomly shocks, burns, or spikes an opponent. Whap an opponent with a genned Mage Rod. Short reach. Forward A - Dagger Lunge, 9%. Attack should be self-explanatory. Backward A - Crescent Blade, 8%. A backward, rising arc, using a sword. Covers the entire back half of Red Mage. Up A - Staff Flip, 14%. Takes longer than the others, but does more damage and has more power. A flipping swing of a staff. Down A - Blade Toss, 10%. Toss your blade straight downward, blade first. Cannot be used over a pit, as RM falls straight down after it. Throws A or Z hit while grab - Quick Knee, 1-3%. Hit your opponent with your knee. Up - Bolt Toss, 5% - Throw your opponent upward and hit them with a Bolt spell. Down - Drop'n'slash, 6% - Drop your opponent and slash at them. Forward - Red Hat Return, 2-7% - Throw your opponent forward, then throw your hat at them. Hit or miss, the hat returns to you, but if it hits there is more damage. Backward - Backward Hat Boomerang, 1-8% - Same as last time, but throw the opponent backward. Special B - Fog, 0% - While holding this up, projectile attacks (thrown items not included) pass through you harmlessly AND are sent back at the opponent. This does not guard against physical attacks or thrown objects. Forward B - Fire, 1-5% per hit, up to 5 hits - Toast your opponent with a beam of fire. Has range equal to the Fire Flower. Due to fire stun, can set an opponent up for a combo Up B - Aero, 10% - Create a vertical gust of wind, sending any opponent above you further into the air. Acts like Fox's Blaster in that there is no stun effect. Down B - Ice, 2% and freeze - Shoots opponent with a short-range puff of intense cold. Will freeze if it hits.
I did what I could to keep this as true to his original FF versions as possible. His teleporting second jump is a Warp spell from FF1, and the weapons are all weapons a Red Mage has been able to use, although I'm a little unsure about the Mage Rod.
And I'm using Red Mage here because most games that a Red Mage has appeared in were on a Nintendo system (3 of 5, and that's if RM is in X-2, otherwise 3 of 4). That, and I think he lends himself well to SSB, somehow. |

Yeah, but say someone made a mod or something using SSB's engine. This is in the name of creativity. That being said, I might contribute one a little later. (Non-Nintendo ) |

...Because you're asking for a Smash Bros. character, therefore it's likely that Nintendo would only use characters that they have the rights to use?
It's called common sense. |

Erm, your not imposing a new rule. Its not like a game is being made from these characters, so why the fuck do you care? Any character you want can be made. |

Um... New rule. Since there is probably GOING to be another SSB, let's do what Nintendo did and use NINTENDO LICENSED CHARACTERS ONLY!
King DeDeDe
normal A - Punch A Combo - lt. punch x2, med. punch <-->+A - tackle, as in the Kirby games ^+A - swing hammer high, lightly down+A - low kick forward smash - heavy hammer swing down smash - stomps ground, send a shortrange shockwave up smash - heavy uppercut
arial forward A - hammer swing, front down A - double kick, attacks below up A - somersault w/hammer back A - fluttters cape, damages like Yoshi's Flutter Kick
Special B - Suck in, spit out (like kirby, only no power absorbtion, and longer range and damages) up B - High Jump damages enemies in his way, can be used in tandem with... down B - High Jump (no damage), but crashed to ground at his highest point. Forward B - Hammerang (guess what this does). med. range
Throws A or Z while grab - pounds enemy several times up - smashes enemy up high w/hammer down - smashes him into the ground w/hammer forward - headbutts enemy a long way back - throws enemy up, then smacks w/hammer backwards.
Notes: Double jump is like Kirby's, only his breath release does a little damage.
I'd add Pit (Kid Icarus), but I'm tiring of this...

OK! This should spark some creativity!
Anyway, I'm sure there is a SSBM character you think is forgotten or left out, and could have really cool moves. Perhaps Bomberman, Sonic, Baby Mario, Diddy Kong, Wario, or anyone else you could think of. Theres an entire world of gaming characters out there!
Just a few simple rules: - No Pokemon! Yeah, they are cool, to some of us perhaps not, but either way, it would suck to have a flood of this. So, NO POKEMON - Stick to the proper style of attacks. And don't be lame. "Yeah, "A" is an instant KO" Lets have none of that. - Follow the attack guidelines by their buttons, and be creative. - Indicate the damage if you'd like, but its not neccessary. You can also add a brief description of individual attacks, but again, thats an option. And of course, name the attacks.
Copy and paste this list into your post to add the moves
Jump Description:
Normal A A second, third, or continuous combo A (while dashing) Left or Right+ A Up + A Down + A Left or Right+ A (smash) Up + A (smash) Down + A (smash) Aerial A Forward A Backward A Up A Down A Throws A or Z hit while grab Up Down Forward Backward Special B Forward B Up B Down B
Ok, now for my character. I chose Banjo and Kazooie. For those of you who don't know what that is, the following moves may seem quite odd. Banjo is a bear with a backpack. Kazooie resides in that backpack. Heres a picture.
Jump Desciription: Banjo hop, then flip-flap jump (aerial backflip using Kazooies wings for leverage)
Normal A: Claw swipe A second, third, or continuous combo: Claw swipe again, downward swipe A (while dashing): Banjo roll Left or Right+ A: Peck attack Up + A: Overhead claw swipe Down + A: Low kick Left or Right+ A (smash): Pack whack Up + A (smash): Upward beak pierce Down + A (smash): Wonderwing (invulnerable for 1 second, causes damage during period) Aerial A: Wing twirl Forward A: rat-a-tat-rap (forward strong beak peck) Backward A: Banjo reverse kick Up A: Beak blossom (abrupt upward peck powered by wings) Down A: Beak buster (pound using beak from pack) Throws A or Z hit while grab: Bear bite Up: upward beak bash (Banjo throws, Kazooie knocks upward with beak) Down: Bill drill (throw down followed by opponent being grinded against ground by beak) Forward: Bear underhand toss Backward: Leg spring (Kazooie stretches legs against ground, releasing to rocket Banjo into opponent) Special B: Egg shoot (fairly rapid (from Kazooie's mouth), classic BK move! ) Forward B: Beak Barge (brief horizontal rocket with beak pointed forward) Up B: Beak rocket (Upward fly with beak pointed, direction can be controlled for short time while it is sustained) Down B: Snooze pack (Kazooie stands while Banjo gets in pack and begins sleeping. Regains health slowly, hold B to continue snooze. Recommended when opponent is knocked far and will likely take some time to regain footing or die)
Well, theres my character, lets see what you can come up with
