I'll go see it for free sometime. Yay for knowing people that work at the movie theater.

Of course, last I checked we don't have any White Castle restaurants in Canada, which kinda doesn't work in the movie's favor.

Yeah, the closest ones are in Joisey. But they sell the burgers frozen... check to see if they've made their way up there.

And I'm not sure if the movie was worth the $8.75 the theater was charging (mind you, this was in CT, not NYC or anything like that!) but it's certainly good. It'll have a good long run once it hits video, too. It's that kind of movie.

I might see it even though I never would ever see "Dude, Where's my Car?". That movie just looked stupid.

The Indian d00d reminds me of his role on "How High" with Method and Redman which was funny XD. I saw some commercials on this movie so I most likely will see it..one day

Immature's good. Heck, I get a kick out of Conker's Bad Fur Day. There's just nothing I find funny about Dude, Where's My Car?...at all.

Yes... I was turned off by the fact of it being directed by the guy who directed Dude, Where's My Car? (a horrible, awful, terrible, unamusing movie).
Funny, apparently, is in the eye of the beholder. Now, what's better that seeing a 85 year old lady running over 2 potheads, flipping them off and calling them "fucking stoners"? MAYBE Super Troopers, but that's a big maybe...

And that's why you're immature. ^_~*

i was going to see it with my friend, then my friend ditched me because i could fit his schedule--as a result, i'll probably never see the movie now because of it

anyways, to have a productive post--i saw the trailer and it got me into it. My friend (who ditched me) said I was the indian guy and he was the asian guy...

(a horrible, awful, terrible, unamusing movie), but I've been reassured it's not like that--I've been told by one other that it IS witty and actually humorous. So...why not? I guess I'll see it soon.

Hey kids! Do you have a fake ID, or are you 17 or older? Then GET THEE TO THIS MOVIE. It's basically kinda like Dude, Where's My Car only smart and actually FUNNY. Harold (a Korean-American junior investment banker/other people's work wench) and Kumar (Indian-American maybe medical student who's really good at medicine but doesn't really do anything with it) as stoners who, after inspired by seeing their ad, set out for White Castle. Hijinks ensue. But you've gotta love a movie featuring a line like:
Spoiler:
"And I thought Neil Patrick Harris was an upstanding guy..."

The party at Princeton's East Asian Club was hilarious, too (although the Battleshits bit wasn't quite as good) as well as the subplot involving Katie Holmes and her tits:
Spoiler:
"You know the Holocaust?" "Yeah." "Well, the opposite of that."

I'm impressed with how funny it was. It wasn't just dumb humor, either. Go see.
