Actually, I was able to buy these games during my holiday in South-Afrika some years ago. I thought they were the new series, Crystal, Jade and Diamond. I played Jade for a bit, thought it was a tad weird and only bought a cart with Zelda - Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons on it. Yes, it was some illegal shop in Johannesburg, just in the main street. |

I'm not even gonn atry that. If it's a pirated, obvious bootleg, fake Pokemon ROM...it's a waste of space. And, this shouldn't even be in "Pokemon hacking," like Ailure said. |

These hacks are more of a translations, very badly translation with lots of swear words such as "sh1t".
Well the priate is Chinese, not Japanese. He just feel like to change the name to try and get the game more popular. lol |

yea...the game itself is actualy quite well done, and sorta a neat concept almost...hell, it wouldsa made a great pokemon game, come to think of it...that gives me an ide--eheh. ehehehehehehehhehehehehehehe.

Well, to tell you the truth, I posted this thread for verification on its authenticity, and viewing the facts, it's a faked spinoff. It was created by Smilebit, which has no affiliation with Nintendo or Gamefreak. Anyway, I obtained the rom, and its actually quite a fun game, but its quite an obvious bootleg. |

not only does the rom exist, but its also a pirate of a pirate  I was wondering when this was going to be brought up again...this was never an official Pokemon game, ever. Nowhere. It was released under taht name in Japan, because it was a totaly different game  The original had absolutly nothing to do with Pokemon whatsoever.
Basicly, some assclown or whoever makes those 800-in-1 things went about and decided, hey, i'll slap the name pokemon on this and sell it as an entirely new game. It's worked before, right? Heh.

These games were released under the title Keitai Denjuu Telefang, and featured an entirely knew Pokemon set. They were released legitamitely in Japan, then pirated to North America, and also released by pirate in Japan in English. Unfortunately the English translation bootleg didn't make it to North America. I wonder if the rom is floating around out there, I think it looks pretty cool. Comments? |
