I've been seeing the commercials on Comedy Central, but I haven't actually tuned in.
To be honest, it looked really really odd. But, who am I to judge? I'm going to watch it sooner or later, probably later though... |

Elmo: Nah, the BBC's always been great for Comedy... They'll screen him if they screened The Young Ones and Bottom ![](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Graham Norton is good, and extremely funny My favorite was when he got Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor, of Terminator fame) to dress up as classic soap character Vera Duckworth I don't think she quite mastered "'ey up, chuck", though ![](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
As far as talk shows go, it pales in comparison to Jonathan Ross ![](images/smilies/wink.gif) |

Bad news for you two then, Graham has transferred to the BBC, so it'll probabl;y neuter his act a LOT, the BBC has always been seen as the most strait laced as the networks over here. |

I watch. I like it for the same reasons Legion does. |

I'm going to prove a bit unpopular because I know a few people on here loathe him, especially his overly camp demenaour, as it's demeaning to homosexuals in a way, but I really like him. I really used to enjoy his skit at the start where he made fun of Big Brother. I also like "Doggy phone", and of course the almost legendary "Betty". What's good is that the guests have an excellent time and really losen up so they talk more candidly. I mean he even got Dustin Hoffman to perform in a skit where he made fun of Big brother UK. Seing the star of Rainman and Tootise wear a false beard and act as a drunken, foulmouthed geordie was hilarious and something I'll never forget.

I take it he was/is big in the U.K.?
He has a show over here now (I think it's been on for about a month now) that plays on Comedy Central.
Anyway, when I first saw previews for it I wasn't sure if I'd like him or not. But when the show finally came on (after many weeks of promos) I started watching it and I think it's pretty good.
I like it because his show has a lot more interactive parts then most talk-shows. He uses a lot more "props" and such. That, and he pushes the edge more as well. (At least as far as American talk shows go) There's a lot more adult humor.
Oh, and he involves the guests he has with certain activities which makes for more interesting watching (as opposed to a talk show host just sitting there talking with someone for 10 minutes) That, and the guests stay onscreen a lot longer, usually for the duration of the show.
Anyone else watch? |
