Well as I said, it's a cover of a video game tune, so I didn't write it. Most of the arranging was initially done over a few days in early May, as the rough draft was due at the end of that month (I think I got it all done before school let out on the 11th of May). The reggae (1:39) and swing (2:09) variations were conceived sometime in June, at which point I went and rerecorded basically the entire thing (I think the only part preserved from the original was the guitar part from the Waltz (2:29)). The guitar is obviously a compilation of takes; the bass, on the other hand, was one continual take from start-to-finish.
It's interesting how stuff evolves from beta to final. As I mentioned, the rough draft was missing two variations, making it about a minute shorter. Additionally, the distortion on the last two sections was initially really treblely and annoying to the ears.

Sounds like a problem with your speakers. It doesn't "say" anything, because it's an instrumental. |

If you check out the link in my signature, you'll note a new song on my SoundClick page. It's pretty much self-explanatory, and I initialy did it for the May/June contest at Dwelling Of Duels, a video game cover competition. Yay for me.
