I guess that's the best usage of YI graphics I've ever seen

You could always just use a different level for Yoshi's House and leave the original intact. That's what I did in my hack.

yes, you can get advantadge of more one event of smw. I did that also in my hack, I made the Y House as the first level and 'YI 1' as the second level with secondary entrance, one leads to the palace and another to a level you can only reach by beating the switch palace first

It's all awesome, just with some minor flaws. Darken the yellow on the OW border, make both parts of the midway gate the same colour, and change the ground in the bonus level, and you'll have one w00ting hack. (As far as GFX go anyway.)

I'd also like to add that i loved the lava effects you did in a castle shot, the part of the wall that is red and the lava itself are gorgeus.

Thank you JJ, it's a good idea IMO, I will do it how you said.

At the moment is only the palete changed, but the GFX will be the same, because you can't use ExGFX in Yoshi's House, while the level glitches up at the end scene. But maybe I will change it a bit.

Yes, it is supposed to happen, because the koopas should like like, if they are zombies.

You should really make your own OW though.
The Ow isn't finished, yet and yes, I copied it from Ultimate Mario World, because I liked it really much, but there will be a lot of changes, so you can't remember that the OW is from UMW.
BTW: Supe Crystal Island Adventure has used the Overworld, too I think, but Draconis changed it a bit.

WOW that REALLY awesome! Killer screens! I can't wait for this demo!!!

Awesome overworld! And this ow reminds me of a very old hack called 'Ultimate Mario World: The Bean World Crisis (or something among these lines)' done by a guy called Sean. Are you Sean, Hidden Mario?

edit: heres a link to a thread i made about Sean's hack some months ago:

Sean's hack (ultimate mario world) can be found here: http://www.zophar.net/hacks/snes.html

I'm withholding my judgment until I see the YI lava animations. That could either look really good, or REALLY crappy.

For the ones who can't find the problem: Below the rightmost star, there's a piece of the fading that's missing.

W00t! This is, graphically, among the best hacks I've ever seen, seriously... and, although I know some people will hate me for that, I must admit I like the red mist.
The only thing I have to bother about is the overworld. The colours are to weak, it looks like on an old dusty photo that was in the sun for a too long while.

Seriously, can't wait for the next demo

Have fun,
Blacky.

I am looking forward to playing this really soon!
The FG GFX are from MMX2 and the BG GFX are from MMX3.

I cant exactly tell where you got the foreground for the 3rd 4th and 5th screenshots. It looks good... but I cant seem to recognise it

The castle GFX are awesome, along with all of the other YI ExGFX.

The overworld looks very nice. The darker palette .

On the last screen, "Have fun playing this hack that Skateboarder11 and I have done" would be somewhat better English. "Me have done"?
