I just always choose Aiai. If there really ARE differences with the characters, he would most likey be the one that's balanced out.

There CERTAINLY is a difference amongst the monkeys when you play Monkey Bowling.

Seems to be the same in the GBA version from what I've played. I enjoy more success with the baby than any of the others.

But there's no speed advantage or anything - and would you really want one?

Every single monkey on Super Monkey ball is the same. The only Exceptions are Baby and the big monkey. The baby monkey seems easier to control since his body is so much smaller. And the big monkey seems to be much harder to control in tight areas. But they all have the same speed.

does anybody know if there is a difference in abilities between the monkeys in Super Monkey Ball (in terms of Mario Kart's Bowser having the top speed, and Toad the best cornering type-o-thing)
