as far as i know, there's no easy way to get rid of the brown grass, because those screens comes with a bg.
Master sword? i do remember there's something on those screens which you can play around with to find the proper overworld exits. |

I know the Master Sword can be moved somewhere else.
For the brown grass, just edit it with the overworld editor or the palette editor.

When editing overworlds, can the master sword screen and zora fountain places be re-located somewhere else ?
Also, when editing overworlds (again..) can you completely get rid of the dark mountains brown grass ? through hex editing or somewhat ? |
