Dameon: and? I was saying how 4th stringers get paid the same as like doctors.

And I didn't watch the game, just the SportsCenter bit. GO PORTIS!

Well....

Did anyone watch the pre-season game last night?

Redskins beat the Broncos 20-17, which is a lot for a preseason game. Usually, preseason games are very low scoring, unless it's a game involving 2 sucky defenses.

Welcome back, Gibbs.

That is not true. Brock's contract was for 2.8 million for I think two years.

I dunno about that.

A 4th stringer makes like, hundreds of thousands of dollars, for holding a clipboard.

Withall of the money that he'll be "making" in nfl europe, maybe Brock can buy his way back into the WWE and maybe undo possibly one of the biggest mistakes of his life.

I have a feeling Brock's going to be making headlines all preseason long if this keeps up...

I'm looking forward to seeing him in NFL Europe.

Why did he retire? Simple: he'd rather smoke pot than play football.

And people wonder why they say drugs are bad for you.

But who knows. Maybe we'll see him back in a year or two.

John Clayton seems to love Lesnar. They did a segment on the Cheifs and that's all he was talking about.

What I've been hearing analysts say is that Huizenga should, while not exactly give him a pass, take into consideration all the sudden losses that Wannstedt's had to deal with and not can him this season. There's no way ANYONE could make the playoffs with this scenario.

In other news, Brock Lesnar got into a fight at a scrimmage with the Chiefs. And he CLOCKED Damon Huard when he sacked him... guess he's not up on the unwritten rules of training camp. Practice squad, anyone?

He could always use the "It's not my fault we have so many injuries" excuse to buy him a 9th or 10th game.

Actually I think Ricky has a 4-game suspension waiting for him if he returns.

David Boston is the one you are referring too. Well, safe to say Coach Wandstat won't be having a job come mid season... =\ At least, not with the Dolphins anyway... Any takers?

If Ricky does come back, he has a long suspention waiting for him anyway. Since he filed his retirement papers, unretiring within a year means a 4th failed drug test. That is indefinite suspension, usually a year. At this point, he's not worth the trouble. I hope you enjoy the rest of your life Ricky, you did yourself in good. But what do I know? The world revolves around you...

Now, I just read that one of Miami's top receivers is out for the season because of a ruptured tendon in the knee or something...

Now I'm hearing that Williams will be signing with another team.

I don't know about the 1st rounder, because it doesn't have anything to do with what happened though.

*IF* Jerry did his own drug test, I have to give the guy credit - that takes guts.

Or just have them forfeit their first round pick. That scares the hell out of ANY team.

I'm not sure what they could do.

Fines, some type of penalty, forfitures of some type. I'm not up on the punishments for union violations.

What would the league do? Fine Jones, sure... only other thing I could see was force them to take Carter back but you know he'd be dealt ASAP.

I'm guessing it was a league test but wouldn't they announce a... you know... suspension?

Hmm, I watched ESPN the day of, and the guy reporting out of camp said the league didn't do any tests, and that Jones probably had.

I think what they're saying is it WAS a league test after all. Probably wasn't, but who knows.

Yeah, but it wasn't a league test, so he can file a grievance or something if the results go public.
