If the ROM is 513K, it'll work. If it's 512, you need to open it in a hex editor (Hex Workshop, preferrably) and add 512 (200 in hex) bytes to the beginning of the file. |

hey mate, i just tried to attach the file to the e-mail, however I couldn't send it (sorry ). The zipped file is 1,12 mega, and they don't allow these d/l sizes for free msn accounts like mine.
I can send it to you via msn, though: my address is frogtrigger@hotmail.com
or AIM: frog1988x

It always says the header is to big. Snes tool will fix it? I will check my email to see if I got the file after I get back from DQ. If I didn't get it, I will try snes tool. Thnaks for the info |

Why bother? Just get SNESTool and use it to apply a header to the (U) [!] ROM. |

This board can also be about questions based on LM so don't flame or close.
I read on Fu's site that LM can edit smas+smw v1.0 I have downloaded about 10 different .smc files and tried them in LM but it kept saying this is not a 0x200 byte header. I have tried:
1. (U) [!] 2. (E) [!] 3. (E) [b1] 4. (U) [b1] 5. (U) [o1] 6. (U) [o1][h1] 7. (U) [h1] 8. (J)
All files said they were version 1.0. These files were all from the same saite and work perfectly in zsnes. The other files were from other sites but were one of the above types.
What exactly am I doing wrong? Was I mistaken that LM opens smas+smw?
A little hint as to what site carries the file would be great! NOT the site name but just a work that would halp find the site...and don't say google, or yahoo or any search engine name.... Thanks |
