I never finished "Der Schuh des Manitu"; it was funny, but just not my kind of "funny".
My wife (who's seen both movies now) thought this new one was better than the first one... but she doesn't know if that's because they got better at making a full movie, or something else. 
Anyway... it really is a fantastically funny movie, for anyone that understands German. 
(And a bit of the Bavarian dialect wouldn't hurt, although it's not quite as heavily used as in their other movie). |

Seen it, really nice; I never liked the "Bullyparade" (comedy show since a couple of years with him, "Bully" Herbig), but these short space-ship adventures always were very neat
The movie features a kind of "story" unlike the short episodes in the comedy show, you can discuss if that movie is better or worse than Herbig's first movie "Der Schuh des Manitu", but if you know some German, go in. You won't be disappointed  |

Haven't seen it  ..since I don't understand German. Maybe it would be interesting though. I've watched a movie in Hindu or Punjabi but my friend translated it for me |

At the moment, yes; but there are several people who speak/understand German on this board. 
And they put out a special edition of "Der Schuh des Manitu" with an English soundtrack, so they might do that with this one too.
Granted though... some of those jokes and gags won't make a whole lot of sense in English, so they'd have to come up with new ones... but Bully shouldn't have too much of a problem with that. |

Has anyone seen this movie yet?
I just got home from it, and man... that was one hell of a funny movie.... 
Stefan Raab was right when he talked about missing half of the jokes because he was still laughing from the others, lol....
