Shows arn't held together with nonstop comedy though. The Simpsons wouldn't of passed the 2nd season if Bart and Homer were the only main characters. You need support characters to keep the comedy in place and make everything right.
Stan and Kyle do that. Cartman makes the show funny, but Stan And Kyle are what keeps it together. |

Stan and Kyle.
Cartman is funny but the show wouldn't be nothing with out Stan and Kyle. Kenny always dies, Cartman is always doing the wrong thing, Stan and Kyle are the ones who make it all work out and bring everything back to normal by the end. |
