Its really nothing special. It looks like a very dark valley of bowser with a bit of lava thrown in. Plus the colors are kinda... bleh They really dont look like stone or rock. They look like a black crayon color.

And as stated in the above post, it is too sparse, and repetitive. Its a good idea, but it needs a ton of more work.

The default floor tiles are bad, the pattern is repetitive and really is destroying the map itself; the entire landsape is way too plain and lacks changes; except these small two "hills". The coast above the lava lake is too straight what doesn't look too good, too.

Try to include more different and more randomly placed objects; in the original one it was the Valley of Bowser and already designed nicely

And I'll let this image speak for itself.

The funny thing is that one of those has you going across a waterfall, and one of those you can do. The ghost house there has a secret exit leading to that castle. And, just because Nintendo did it doesn't mean it's smart. There were a few times in SMAS where they put a pipe in water, and the resulting area where there should logically be water but where the wasn't was quite ugly.

The path marked in the second subpic (the one of Bowse Valley feat. Castle #7) actually exists...

and [back to topic] your palette looks crap, at least it does on the heavily overJPEGged screenshots. Yet, I like the idea.

Doesn't Bowser already have his own world? Isn't it called Valley of Bowser? Why have you not erected some barrier to prevent the player from wondering why, exactly, he cant go from the bottom middle (the entrance) directly to the left area?

What do you think? You enter this world from the normal Bowser's Castle entrance. (replaced special world, sorry SW fans)
