The re-release of Star Ocean 3 in Japan has a multiplayer battle mode...I hope we'll get that too. Star Ocean 3 looks likes its gonna be my favorite action rpg since Kingdom Hearts....until KH 2 anyways. |

I've never played the first Star Ocean. Is it fully translated?
Oh, and I hope that this game isn't 1 and a half discs of cutscenes and the rest actual gameplay.
SO2 was pretty good about that. Not too many cutscenes at all. The one thing I found funny about the game is that you would have the most beautiful backgrounds and you'd have these cartoony characters on the screen at the same time.  |

Star Ocean 3 did come out in 2002, but it was in japanese 
anyways, this one takes up two dvds? hmm...i wonder what the changes are since well, the japanese version only takes up 1.
i'm probably going to buy this game like I did FFX-2...however, I probably won't play SO3 until i finish SO1 and SO2 first... |

Too bad Star Ocean 3 doesn't carry the story from 1 or 2... but I heard it has small references to it. :o |

Ive been waiting for this since september 2003...and im still waiting. Action RPGs are by far my favorite genre.

Technically Devil May Cry 2 was two discs, but each disc was the same game with a different character. I think this is the first PS2 game where you actually have to complete two dics to get an ending.
And yes, I've been waiting for this for a long, long time. |

The game looks good, I like the look of it. And 2 disks? I thought the PS2 screwed up if you ejected the disk? oh well...
Must be a long game, to take up 2 DVD disks, but will it cost more? since it will cost more to make. |

I just pray it's not overhyped like Xenosaga. Don't get me wrong, Xenosaga wasn't bad and worth the money, but the gameplay was lacking greatly.
But from what I've seen this game looks pretty cool, and I like the setting. |

Oh, and I've been waiting for this game FOREVER! I remember when it was suppose to come out in January........January of LAST year. 
Star Ocean 2 was one of my favorite RPG's for the PSX. Can't wait to get my hands on this one. I think it's due out August. |

Yeah, it's finally gonna come out eventually. But the biggest news is that this sucker takes up TWO DVD disks, not just one. Square Enix is really pulling out the stops for this game. |
