Yeah, that's not to say that there's no strategy in Omaha. It's just much more difficult to pick up on at a glance, if you ask me.

And as mentioned, Hold Em has always been the "main event" at the Series.

As for me I like when they do Texas Hold'm. I don't know what year that was but it is awesome to watch.

No, that's Celebrity Poker, a less serious tournament for charity.

It's being shown in the UK now... It's fascinating, I didn't think that it would be even entertaining, but the competitors are real people who are very fun to watch

Is it the same program that feature Jack Black for a celevrity special? Where he worse his giant sunglases?

Yes, the main event has been Hold 'em since the WSoP started. And Emptyeye, I actually kind of like Omaha. I usually look for either a high pocket pair (obviously), or at least two draw possiblilties as a decent hand. (two suited or connectors being a draw possibility)

It's interesting that there are so many different flavors of poker out there.

I'm not a full-time gambler by any means, but I know enough to tell you this: Omaha is SADISTIC. Whereas you can convincably fake that you know what you're doing with most other varieties of poker, with Omaha you're better off just pushing your chips blindly into the pot and hoping for the best. Seriously.

I just happened to catch it this year. Where I live, the reruns are on some days at 11 am and I watch that until Unsolved Mysteries comes on.

I didn't watch last year's but this year, it was intresting to see someone that came in an RV with his family that wins it.

We get it in Canada too through TSN but... at like midnight or 1 AM.

Really interesting although I could only see myself playing online for fun. Not for cash. I'll leave the pros to do that while I watch and laugh when they go all in with a doomed hand.

I wish I could have watched it. Poker is like..cool man. Gambling , the shizzle. Maybe I can catch that Texas Hold'em stuff. Isn't it on ESPN or something?

This year is better because of the extra game time.

Also, for those dying for the big tourney, wait a month or so and you'll get at least 10 hours of poker fixings of Texas Hold'em.

The only real bad things I don't like are the extra spoonsors and ads they have, and the fact that when I go back to college, I can't watch the first run episodes.

I actually like this year's better, because it's interesting to see different types of poker that I would otherwise never get to see played professionally. Also, I'm sure they'll have just as much, if not more, airtime dedicated to the main event ($10,000 buy-in hold'em).

Also, if you're only interested in hold'em, you still get a good deal, because they've been showing the smaller hold'em tournaments as well.

Original. The big draw--nay, the reason anyone watches televised poker--is no limit Texas hold'em. I don't even get pot limit Omaha, whatever that is. Show the whole tournament for one style, not the last table for a bunch of 'em.

I'd have to say... the previous ones. This year is fairly confusing, although I do like the addition of 7-card stud...
