Alright, if I can't get it figured out by tonight, I'll take you up on that. Thanks either way for the offer!

Okay, I see what your talking about. While in LM, go to the OW editor and select the white path that is right below the cut off part. It should be selected (you will know because it will be highlighted pink. Now move your mouse up to the blank area and right click. This will paste the path over the blank area.

BTW make sure you have first clicked on the green hill button at the top of the screen.

It will work, if you do it right.

Ignore that^^.

Thats an event that you edited. You may have accidentally deleted it when you replaced the castle. If you want you can wait for someone to explain how to fix it, or you can send it to me (in IPS) at qq_12344@hotmail.com. I could fix it for u.

The problem I had with the intro is no more, thankfully, but I still couldn't get the other thing fixed. I didn't edit the events, either. Since you asked:

It's probably just me being an idiot, so please try and be thorough if you answer. Thanks again...

I'm betting that the C7 level change is what's behind the first problem, though I can't say for sure until I can get on the other computer later.

As for the OW question, it's the light-colored path that's missing. I'll try what you said and see if it works. If not, I'll be back with a screenshot.

For your second question, Are you talking about the darkened out path, the white/peach path or the green path that tells mario where to go? If its:

Dark Path: Just open up the 16x16 editor, chose the tile you need and place it down. You said half the path is there so if you select just 1 tile on the half thats there, open the editor, then flip the tile horizontally, place it then you should have it correct.

Peach Path: Same as above.

Green Path: Your ROM is screwed, This shouldn't happen...

BTW, a screenshot might help here. Some people may get confused at what your trying to say.

You need to change the title screen level (C7) too. Overwrite level C7 with the level where you recorded the demo.

To your first question - Very important:
- You need to record Mario's movements AFTER installing the ASM hack; anything else doesn't work. The proper option inside the bonus menu install that hack into the ROM temporarily, so install it, record the movie, insert it and when you are done, then simply uninstall it again.
Also you need time to record it; especially when dealing with longer runs. you want and need to do some finetuning

Alright, I'm new here and am willing to bet these are stupid questions. Please don't hurt me ;D

1. I've tried recording a new title screen, but after inserting the data from the save state, I either get no change at all, or a very weird instance where it uses the movements I put in, but in the original SMW environment, which causes Mario to run into that turtle - that activates Special Zone music and brings up a Game Over screen, then sends me in to play that demo section with no music.
SUMMARY: How do I go about recording and inserting a new title screen animation?

2. I've done minimal OW changes as of now, but encountered a problem in the Valley of Bowser. I removed the Valley Fortress (since it's no longer a fortress stage) and replaced it with the "dug-up earth" cave entry spot. Thing is, I can't get the path above and below to match up right. Right now I have a path leading up to the Back Door stage from this modified level, and only half a path leading up to the modified level from the one under it (formerly VoB 1)...the second half is empty ground. EIther removing the path that's there or adding it in where it isn't would be fine...can anyone suggest a solution?

If screenshots would help for anything, I can get them, but I'd need a little time as I'd have to move them between different computers.

Thanks in advance!
