PSP 3.11 doesn't work fine with PIC2SNES, but the .pcx files you did works fine with PIC2SNES. Rexxon, here can you get PSP 3.11 and it's not big. http://www.cmis.brighton.ac.uk/Research/Archive/w3lessonware/toolset1/thrdprty/psp311.htm
If you have reduced the number of colors to 16, than save it with PSP to a Version 2 .pcx file.

Never mind. Jeez... too much trouble... just look for PSP 3.11 if the new versions don't have the Zsoft Paintbrush PCX... I'm not too sure how that all works...
In any case, 3.11 works like a charm for me. |

Good, I use PS7.0 also. If you go to the jasc website (type Jasc in google) you can d/l a trial version of psp to convert to the correct form of pcx picture. I would do this but I have used up my trial and I don't feel like regesty hacking to get my 30 (15) days back. I am going to PM you so read what I send. |

I use Photoshop 7.0
Can anyone recommend any other programs (Prefferably Free) that I can use to do this conversion? Thanks.

The exact same thing happens here. It always says that it is not in VGA format. The only way I know how to make it into VGA format is by using PSP (Paint Shop Pro). My problem is I don't have PSP.
BTW, what version is your Photoshop? |
