I have PSP8, Photoshop 7.0, Irfanview, Jasc Animation shop, and Paint. I can do MANY things with my picture. I guess I could cut it in half and go from there. Irfanview is awesome for converting. I go with what you said, I guess and use that m16-7k thing. I just need to wait for that guide on how to do it

Dude, get a decent image maker program and use 256 color BMPs.
Too bad that you want it as 512x448, most tile editors only support 256x256 BMP.

I really don't feel like doing every tile my self, because that would take a very long time. I downlaoded a program from zophars domain called gif(pcx)2snes but I can't sem to get it to work. When I use a gif file, it says its not a gif file (I tried the extension .gif and .GIF but no luck) and when I use a pcx file it says its not a 16bit VGA pcx file (I don't know how to make it VGA but it is 16bit). I prefer gif because it also allows 256bit pictures, which is what the original picture is in. I have heard of a program called pic2snes, but can't find it any where. I was sure it was a zophars, but its not. Some more help would be great. Thanks

Well you could do it the slow way and just do every tile, and then the palette, yourself. Anyway, I have to go... To see... A psychiatrist... And will be back... In a few hours... *runs off*

So thats what that menu is for. Its way to confusing for me anyway. But even if I did understand it, I couldn't use it for this picture. My picture is 512x448. Is there another util that I could use? I can always split this up among the BG1 and FG1 because its not going to be for public use.

Assuming it's a 256x256 .gif file you can put it directly in to the background Map16 with one of Lunar Magic's hidden features, accessed by going in to the 16x16 editor and holding Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F1+N+O+Insert.

I have finally learned how to rip graphics from other games and get them into LM, but I don't know how to get my own custom pictures into LM. I have a picture I need for a BG, but I don't know the way to go about getting it into tiles. Is there a utility that will do this for me? Thanks
