OOC: Yeah it did, and it wasn't funny. Part of me wonders how you got it to do that, and the other part of me thinks you should be banned for 2 weeks.
Schwa smiles. "I knew it! You wouldn't be running away for no reason, would you? Watch as I reveal the truth! Soul Search!!!" (echo effects)
Out of Schwa's hands pour an extremely bright light. Within 5 seconds, only the real GravWell is visible. "Soul Search allows me to reveal the truth in illusions, as well as see my foe's soul clear as day. This means invisibility moves are useless as well." Schwa thrusts a palm forward and fires out of it a beam that he sweeps across the arena. He fires it in front of Shadow to stop his running, and sweeps it toward him to lure him back to the well. |

Shadow doubts his opponents mind-game abilities. Running away from his oponents grav-well that cant be seen, he doubts that his opponent has any idea what the hell is going on... |

OOC: Well if you only appeared to control the attack, you'd have to actually say that you did in an OOC. It's okay for me to know what's going on without my character knowing. Oh, and clicking on your sig really ticked me off. I almost don't feel like continuing this fight.
Schwa becomes alarmed when he sees the GravWell start moving back at him, but regains his fighting spirit quickly. "Are you sure you have the ability to control psi?" he comments without attacking. "Or are you even doing it? I've played mind games with many a foe and won, Shadow. Tell me what your plan is, with honor, or I'll end your games for good." One might wonder how Schwa can keep his calm under any circumstances... he sure is an amazing fighter. |

The gravity well stops dtonating in the middle of it's process. Shadow having taken damage until now, is affected apportionately. Suddenly, a vermilion color fills the air.
"Right back at you."
The gravity well moves, in the direction to engulf the psi warrior.
"Are you calling me scum? I didn't see me fit under any of those aforementioned categories."

"Only demons, undead, dark gods and such are scum, Shadow. Ridding the world of those categories is my job. Sorry to bust your bubble."
Now the well is completely surrounding Shadow-- it's warm, but not painful. "Detonate," Schwa says calmly. Instantly the well explodes into a flurry of psychic energy, engulfing Shadow.
"That will teach you not to try and coax a psi warrior in battle," Schwa scolds. |

Shadow coaxes his opponent.
"We're not so different, you and me, I simply serve a different good. By ridding the world of scum we would be better without, your kids can grow up safer. Is that really so evil?" |

"Good and evil is a complicated matter," Schwa says. "Basically, you're either good or you're evil. There's no in-between. Everyone starts out as good, but usually if one kills someone who's good, that character is evil. That's my belief." The well is 10 feet away from Shadow now... looking at it hurts the eyes, kind of like staring into the sun only not too severe. "That well isn't harmful to touch, by the way... if it hits you, it won't kill you. Just so you know." |

Letting go and then re-anchoring, Shadow manages to dodge the energy bolts. Standing upright, Shadow realizes simply that the planet that they're on exerts more force than the psi warriors gravity well.
"I'm something of a scientist, and I wonder why I didn't realize that earlier. Who gets to decide what is evil? What makes me so much different than you? The fact that I kill for money? Perhaps it is you who puts too mush stock on human life." |

"We psi warriors don't believe in violence, but self defense. You're the one who challenged me, not the other way around. Fighting evil certianly is violent, but it's our job as we are bound to the light side through our Pact of Honor." The gravity well still is slowly getting closer to Shadow, and Schwa makes Shadow's fight tougher by firing energy bolts at him while he's anchored. Good luck dodging. |

Using his rifle, Shadow Shoots a harpoon into the ground to anchor himself.
"How can one resort to violence and claim to walk the path of peace? You didn't exactly challenge me to tic-tac-toe to compare our skills." |

"A threat, Shadow, will only pull you farther away from your goals, to be one with Virtue, Respect and Honor." Schwa stops firing and thrusts his hand in the air. This gesture causes the gravity well to slowly start moving toward Shadow. Schwa walks with it to keep close to it. As the well gets closer to the fleeing Shadow, he feels the pull get stronger... |

" I Apolagize to noone when I'm not in the wrong. I threatened to shoot you, and I said that I didn't want to kill you, merely test your skill."
Dodging the attacks with increasing speed, Shadow wonders how much longer he can keep it up. |

Remember, Schwa's firing back at Shadow at the same time. Obviously he get in a few hits because Shadow didn't regard them in his last post!  Schwa says to Shadow, "Shadow, it's time for you to repent for threatening to kill someone! Apologize now and we'll continue our battle with honor."
Schwa's attacks seem to be getting stronger, but it's probably Shadow's imagination... |

Knowing his attack, Shadow knows not to jump into the air.
"I cannot hit you, but I can sure as hell try."
Firing his rifle, Shadow hopes to accomplish something. His opponents field taking effect, it draws the bullets towards it, and away from his target. |

"You, Shadow, pointed a loaded gun at me and said if I resisted, you'd shoot me! That's a threat for sure." Schwa's fist turns blue again, and he thrusts in forward, releasing the ball of ether into the center of the arena.
"Gyrowell!!!" (echo effects) The ball of ether transforms into a ball of magnetic energy, pulling everything in except Schwa. The strength of the gravwell is weak, not strong enough to pull Shadow in if he resisted, but it would be enough to throw anyone off balance in midair unless they used expert skill.
"Good luck trying to hit me in here," Schwa taunts as he does a frontflip towards the well. He lands real close to it, but it doesn't affect him since it's his technique. From his position, Schwa starts firing energy rings toward wherever Shadow is standing. |
