Well, the best site for you to search would be Symantec's website.

I did a brief look, this is what I got:

download.trojan @ Symantec

Trojan Dropper @ Symantec

I hope the info on those sites can help

My math teacher have told me to look up the viruses in a virus definition list on an anti-virus program site. The trojans names are: "download.trojan" and "Trojan Dropper". As i said in my first post here, i

Almost every computer at my school gets viruses/spyware/adware on a daily basis. Probably because a lot of people use Internet Explorer and go to weird sites the utilise ActiveX eploits.

Yeah. Try to run as many diagnostic programs as you can. At least at my school, every user created by the school administration is set as a member of Administrators.

well...if they are in quarantine, then the trojan's aren't going to do any harm. my suggestion is to say that there is a virus on the system and that you found it there when you started using the computer. i really don't see why a sys admin would get up set with you for reporting such a thing. after all, getting viruses on a computer makes the sys admin look bad so i would think it is in his/her best interest to fix the problem.

To get a trojan either you put it on there or you downloaded it, at my school if i told them something about it i think i would never be allowed in the computer room again, so i wouldnt tell them .

Shouldn't you just tell the school people about it? since at my school at least we don't have access to much... If you do lose anything the school probably has a backup of your files.

The best way if you cant normally delete them while they are running you should boot into safe mod (if they let you do that at school) and delete the file if you know the file name .

Shouldn't the school be taking care of that?
Anyway, your best bet first is to disconnect from the net so they can't really do any harm. Then find out as much as possible about them and go online at a public/friend's PC to find out what they are. You should be able to get some sort of removal tool. Most likely you can just get rid of them in the registry (and of course delete the actual files too).

We need more detailed descriptions, really. Any screens flipping upside-down?
