Anikiti, it's my pleasure to help out. Good luck with the excellent hack! You can send me a private message if you want to check some English text before releasing it. Someguy (

Thank you for the reply of each time Japanese.
Although it is English translation of a world, I will make it reference.
Although English translation of a hint box or a level title is made now, since English is weak, I may have a mistake in part.
Thank you for delightful cooperation, when it helps then.

SInce your going to use Luigis sprite in p2 u should just color him purple and call Him Waluigi. It'd make more sense than having a skinny mario.

Someguy, don't get upset, but I'm making your message somewhat more... readable:

Anikiti, if you want I can go over the translation and fix things up so they can be more understandable to English people, incase part of your knowledge of English isn't perfect, though others may be better, nobody else has offered, and if there are any puzzles requiring the Message Box to help and a mistake is made, the level may become much harder. I also would be honored to help out with the hack in any way, which is another reason I am asking. One last thing, the sprites in Yoshi's Island used separated feet to allow animations to be longer, will the Fat Guy seem oddly animated or will you use animated tiles on the sprites section to make him animate better?

i dont believe it is a dino rhino replace, although it would be even more interesting. the small dinos could be Pyro Guys from YI

The fat shyguy may also be a Dino-Rhino replacement. Dunno about the Dino-Torch Shyguys though...

No. Play Yoshi's Island and you'll see there's a ridiculously fat shy guy who runs around. IIRC you can jump on him to bounce up to great heights.

Obese Shy Guy. Was that inspired by Gourmet Guy from Paper Mario? The one you had to feed the cake to in Shy Guy's Toy Box?

This message will be translated into Japanese with Babel Fish to help any Japanese readers, though there may be errors.

Whoa, some things freaked me out! The chain chomp and the fatguy made my mind fall apart like a jigsaw puzzle for a minute. I scroll down and see you did that and I think ,"Holy shit! This guy is inhuman!". Then I realize what you did and I find it rather creative.
The YI graphics seem difficult to get, did you use a program for it? If you did'nt hand-make these things pixel by pixel, I'd say you managed to rip them flawlessly.

Good catch, Kyouji. Kamek it is, then.

No, if it was magikoopa it would be Valley of the Kamek, which is what magikoopa are referred to in Japan.

Clockworkz, I could be wrong about that one. It's maou kuppa, or magic/devil koopa. I think he's Magikoopa, but I'm not sure.

Skateboarder, I was just making sure that his name was pronounced "Anikichi" and not "Anikiti" (he uses some odd romanization). I thought the Japanese might help since the guy's obviously using Babelfish or the like to produce his English.

Anikiti, keep us posted!

Please explain what that was for...

Heian: If you have Japanese in a post... Please translate it to english too... as it appears as random characters on some computers.

Point the first: It was pointing out the fact you clearly didn't read it very well or else you would've seen he CLEARLY SAID foregrounds and backgrounds, while you said "if you mean sprites, then..."

Point the second: Right click > Encoding > Japanese (Shift-JIS)
