The "Clock" looks bad. I'm not really sure why you changed it from "Time" anyway, but I'd recommend changing it back.

The ghosts are definetly wrong. They just don't work, and look too scary, even for ghosts...

If possible, you should try the mine cart idea.

Those are boo buddies, not eeries. Eeries are the ghosts that go straight forward, or go forward waving up and down.

Also, for some reason I think programming in a mine cart would be a little out of his league.

Have Mario ride on one of those little pushcarts where each person works one end, and animate the pushcart so that a little monster of some kind (a Shyguy!) is on the other side pushing the handle up and down.

And I originally misinterpreted the Eeries at 1:00 and 9:00 in your picture to already be giving the peace sign, which is what gave me the idea. Keep in mind that they could be giving the victory sign because they've got Mario trapped, which would indeed make them very evil.

I was planning on doing something like that. Make the platform different somehow... maybe have the foreground behind it look like an elevator shaft and make a platform move up and down on it. It might just work.

Well, I can tell it's the right palette, but it's just so... Blue, ya know? :p Anyway, use some elevators. I mean, line guided platforms going up and down the mine to simulate a more mine-ey effect. Like KT used, only without the ASM hacks.

Not the right color? It is the right color. I didn't touch the palette... but, that pic is now old. Kyouji is letting me use his ghosts in my hack (which they are cool). Thanks for the ghosts.

Any ideas on what I should add to a mining level? I am going to make a tileset for a cave level coming up soon and I am wondering what I should add. I will add animated Koopas that mine in the background, some conveyer belts, and the like. Any ideas of what I should add?

I'm guessing it's an eerie as seen from the front. Looks kinda like it, anyway, even if it's not the right color.

...I don't know... I kind of like them the way they are right now... I might edit them, but I won't make them do that... I want them to be evil for some reason.

For the first screenshot... I will remove the copyright...

Second and third... I might either brighten the background or darken the foreground. The background is brighter, though, so I might darken the fg.

As for the ghosts... I am still in the process of editing them all. All of them will be edited except the Big Boo.

The "BASIC LAND" lettering could use some work.

I like the flamethrowers; will the Koopas controlling them be in the background? They'd have to be, I guess; otherwise you'd have to somehow sync up Mario jumping on them with suddenly turning off the flamethrowers.

Any reason why "TIME" became "CLOCK"?

How about editing the fonts a little so that the letters and numbers are the same size? It would make the "CPUBASIC13" part look better.

Now that i look at it, its kinda hard to tell what the ground is and what the BG is in SS 2 and 3. But thats just me.

1st SS is good, except for the fact that there is no copyright

4th... LOOKS LEIK A DEMENTED FROG OMG KILL IT j/k Though it really doesnt fit in that well.

I actually hadn't noticed the eerie - it being faced towards the screen, I assumed it was just an oddly placed block. I meant the boo circle. Although, if that's an eerie, it's pretty strange too

Which ghost? Two of them have been edited. One is the Eerie (far left, blue) and the other is part of the ghost circle.

That ghost creeps the hell out of me. I suggest not using it, as it's... Strange. And different from the others. HE'S DIFFERENT, AND I REFUSE TO ACCEPT HIM. heh heh heh... </custom robo reference>
