Sometimes you would see nude drawings in schools made by the upper classmen, obviously the least bit acceptable for the great work without question from teachers.

I don't know why they cannot take yours just the same. Different school rules I suppose, but still, it's art, you're expressing yourself the way you want to, you apparently did more than excellent on the art itself. I cannot see why they could'nt give you at least a little bit of credit for doing such superb pieces of work. Some people are just ignorant about art, I guess you just need to find people who would appreciate it like in the large buisinesses or other schools for that matter.

I'm confused, what do you mean?

What kind of stupid innuendo were they trying to pull out of thin air? Stand being...oh geez. So what if the stand would've been on his head or something...or somewhere not near the center of the paper...then they would've accepted it? Excuse me while I go laugh my ass off at dumb faculty.

I asked if anyone thought they were inappropriate for school because the assistant principle wouldn't allow them to be put on the commencement program or the graduate list. Apparently there was a big discussion on it and the hour glass had "bad religious symbolism" and the flying machine had "sexual themes". (Meaning they thought the stand for it was "represented a male sex organ". Needless to say I was a bit mad at them...

I knew I missed some nice things when I wasn't here. I think the Flying Machine and Hourglass are part of these things.

The stippling and symetry is excellent!
Also the lighting and shading add a magnificent touch.
I love the hourglass in particular!

I'll have to show you some of my drawings sometime!
You're a great artist, I am exceedingly impressed!

These are amazing and are perfect for school...I mean in the first one it's ok by the position of the machine and the second one I don't see how it can't be good for school.

If you need only one, I'd go for the hourglass, because it's more recognisable.
But that's probably because your flying machine has an odd bottom part.

I use stippling (it's basically the same as pointillism). And I don't know...it's kind of funny because I'm such an impatient person.

Now, do any of you think those are inappropriate to be shown in school?

I love the hourglass, such lovely detail.
Do you use a technique like pointillism, and if so, where do you get the patience to finish anything?

Right click > show picture

Or, Ctrl+F5 if that doesn't work

Anyway, those are really good. High detail. Good job.

These *were* going to be used for the cover of my school's commencement program and the graduate's list.

I realize the bottom circle part of the flying machine isn't completely round, but I was tired and had a deadline to meet.
