I used CSS :p background-repeat: no-repeat; 'll do. I kind of fixed the stretching now, I don't feel like making it look any better than this because.. Well just because I'm tired. |

Uh, do you have anything in your layout except for those quote bars?
I don |

That is awesome. I am not a big fan of horror games or themes, but in terms of quality, very well done. The only thing that looks out of place is that thick red line near the top of the textbox. The intensity of it diverts your eye away from the actual post. Very cool work overall. |

when your post stretches your layout, the left and right part of your box repeat, but the top and bottom of the repeating part are different in width, making it ugly looking when it repeats. Which is a shame, as it's a pretty nice themed layout. perhaps try to make the border yourself, by ripping part of the graphics and use it as a pattern. (-> assuming you use photoshop)
edit to your edit: yes. |

edit: you may want to remove the little bg in your textarea, it's fugly when it repeats. That, or seperate it from the rest and set it to no-repeat.
I set the bg of the textarea to no-repeat now, this any better? But what do you mean about my box?
Edit: Ohh, you mean the border of the textarea? |

Hmm, test. The new down is smaller, is that any better? And how would I go and remove the HRs?
Edit: the smaller one fucks it up, now I'll have to fix that in the CSS. |

Getting rid the upper line of the quote would be better...
If possible, replace the bottom line of the quote with similar image... |

And the red is too strong, try and lower it a bit, it's very bright.
I got the graphics from the SWF file on http://www.konamityo.com/sh4/. I downloaded the flash and extracted them from there, then I pasted the Silent hill 4 on there and divided them.
I lowered the red a bit now, is it any better than this? And I'll resize the lower image to make it smaller I guess. (PNG all the way! ) |

Decent size on the top and side pictures, but the bottom one is 100+Kb , any chance in lowering that?
It's a decent layout, nice image on the blockquotes, and the stretching is.. not too good ;P |

Wow. Just...Wow. It's excellent. The quote bars are an excellent touch. I don't think I've ever even seen that before... |

This one is Silent Hill 4 based, so, what do y'all think of it? Link

And yes, I know the stretching is ugly but I tried using a textarea and that fucked up the editprofile page. |
