About the Block Inserter...

Did you open the rom in Block Inserter? If not, do that. Sure you will see the blocks that you have inserted in your hack, but the rom isn't opened.

... okay, but dont blame me if my directions arent clear.

1: Extract GGX
2: Find the GFX file with the pipe tiles on it.
3: Copy this file into your ExGFX folder
4: Open the copied file in YYCHR
5: Edit the pipe tiles, and other tiles that you want to. (in game animations are done on a different file)
6: Save your changes.
7: Insert the ExGFX in lunar magic.
8: Open the Super GFX bypass dialogue.
9: Load the ExGFX file number into the GFX slot that has the pipe tiles in it.
10: Party.

There, are ya happy, or do you need me to get you a cold drink too

I'm ok. I just want someone to explain this to me a little more in-depth, please.

Maybe you should take a step back and work on something else if you're getting mad. The help file should more the cover learning ExGFX in it's entirety.

For the former, insert and re-insert the normal GFX. For the latter, make a copy of the GFX file with the ground you'll be using. Now all you need to do is to edit it, slip in the block in place of some of the GFX already in there (you'll have to sacrifice something), and insert it as ExGFX.

Can you answer me that as well?

BTW: FG3 is the ground. It looks very bad seeing the ground look like cracked blocks (which will be used for sensititivity blocks)

Simply put, use another slot. Most people use FG3, that's usually what you should stick with.

So... what? I can't have pipes in those levels? What the hell?

That's entirely normal for your situation.

I made some nice custom block tiles in a new window in YY-CHR and inserted them into the rom. Unfortunately, they are replacing my pipes and certain question blocks and ruining that stuff! How can I fix this? It is inserted as ExGFX80.bin and in slot one (FG1 in the drop-down menu in the super GFX bypass dialogue). Is... something wrong?
