OMG i finally got it to work!
It was the rom. I downloaded a new one and now it works just fine! YAY

It says the ROM doesn't have an 0x200 byte header. What should you do? Add one.  Open it in a hex editor and insert (NOT overwrite) 512 bytes at the start. I don't think it matters what they are. |

Hmmm... this may sound extremely stupid... but the rom might be corrupt  Try getting a new one, tehn see what happens |

I used Lunar IPS and got a result but I'm still getting an error.
It says
"The ROM does not have a 0x200 byte header!"

Is it version 1.0 or version 1.1? LM only opens the US 1.0 and the Japanese ROMs, US 1.1 and UK ROMs won't work because they have things in different places. |

The rom i am trying to open is SuperMarioWorld.smc but it's not working.

Or are you trying to edit an IPS patch?
Does the rom file end in .smc? |

Have you unzipped SMW or is it still in the .zip format it was in when you got it? |

i just dled LM and tried to load the SMW rom and it says:
"The ROM either has the wrong game title,
or is in the wrong format."
