I know it's been said several times already, by me, but could it kill you to look at the poll? Even if you didn't note the fact "Melee" is missing from the title, you'd clearly see there are twelve people on the poll.

Yeah, I'll accept that most people are no good with it.

I voted Jigglypuff because it IS the worst character for MOST PEOPLE. Some people can actually play extremely well with Jigglypuff...

But the point is, Jiggly combos really well. If you lead in to Rest with Drill Kick, you will *never* miss with it.

Also, you want several good moves?

Seismic toss (Throw forward). The only move that throws an opponent straight up; you can lead it in to a drill kick, or if they have high enough damage you can proceed to juggle them.

Pound (B). Gives infinite horizontal recovery when done properly; does heavy damage to shields if the opponent blocks it. 'Nuff said.

Drill kick (down+a in air). Use it on someone who's near the ground or on it, and when you touch the ground, they'll be bounced up in to the air. You can immediately follow up with a small tap of a c button for a tiny jump, then rest to knock them away. In addition, you can repeatedly use this on someone who's in the air, and if timed right this move will knock the opponent straight down, and if they're over an edge at the time, that means they die from it.

Sing (Up+B). Stuns them; If they're at heavy enough damage it doesn't matter when you use it, they'll be stunned long enough that you can get them with any thing afterward. If they have light damage, don't use it. Medium, come down on them from the air and use it to minimize vulnerability.

Rest (down+B). You can easily get it off after Drill Kick or Sing, does 20 damage, knocks them to their death with just 50+%.

Mega Kick (Forward smash). No lag time, no recovery time, knocks opponent away if they have high enough damage, if they don't you can repeatedly use it on them until they do.

Headbutt (up smash). Knocks opponent straight up. Can KO, or can lead in to a drill kick or juggle.

Six jumps. Not a move, but it's SIX JUMPS.

I could debate that too... I got people out of the ring 3 seconds after they came vack (on regular damage too) with kirby. Sure Jiggly has rest... but you miss with that, you are more than likely dead. Rest has too much of a drawback to be considered good, and one really stong move is not enough to be 4 or 5 good ones.

Look, RealtimeStrategy (which I'm calling you on account of the initials, if you hadn't noticed), I play as Jigglypuff in SSB and have quite a few things to say about that. Can your character get the opponent from 0% to death in just one combo? None can but Jigglypuff.

Yeah, there's no disputing it: Jigglypuff was the worst in the N64 version, which is what I assume this poll is for. If it's about Melee, then the worst character is Pichu by far.

And as far as options go, if you really wanna see if you're good, try stacking the odds. Let your friends pick the rules and see how it goes. I once had a survival match, me against two friends allied against me, I was not allowed to attack back, and I had to survive for two minutes on double damage. One time we were all Pichu in Hyrule Temple on half damage, ten lives, and tiny melee with poison mushrooms on very high, the challenge was to see who would quit first. Another time we were all Jigglypuff and Kwonking the hell out of each other with Rollout. To determine if you're a truly good player you have to adapt to any situation, you can't call yourself good if you're just fighting in the same situations all the time.

Yeah... That's fair enough. Anyway, we should probably stop posting back and forth... That kind of thing is best left for PMs.

Did they have an overwhelming handicap advantage? Were they on a team? Was Team Attack off?

Agreed. I still play Mewtwo, but he's just for fun; I win most of my battles with him, though. But when I want to get competitive I play Marth... Also, somehow I doubt you've gome across someone truly good.

Never said that... I just think tiers is a pointless argument. Of course there are some characters that are better than others, but most characters can be used to beat anyone else.

I still play kirby in meele and always will... And frankly, I destroy anyone who comes across my path...

OH, that explains it. You don't think there's tiers...

Let me put it this way. Name one thing Bowser has that stands up to Marth's speed and power with the tip of his blade. You may say it's hard to hit with Marth's tip, but it's easy if you practice *plays Marth*

When used properly of course... Any character is good... when used properly of course..

Then theres Meele, and the stupid tier crap over at Gfaqs...
