He's makes an appearance in all of the Marvel movies.
In this one, he was the guy who pulled that woman out of the way of oncoming danger saying "Look out!".  |

For starters, Harry isn't Hobgoblin. (Like many of my friends and cohorts seem to think.) It's Roderick Kingsley. Harry was the second Green Goblin.
And Anya, where did you get that from? Spidey originally got his black costume during the secret wars when he totalled his costume and needed a new one. So he took a tip from some other heroes who had the same problem and found a machine that made him a costume. It gave him a black ball (which set off his spider sense) and thus the black suit was born.
It starts taking over his mind making him evil and too aggresive so he ditches it in a church. Later on, Eddie visits that church after a bunch of bad things happen to him (blaming Spiderman for it) and the suit finds him.
The whole "Jamesons son brings it back from space" was just in the cartoon and isn't part of actual Spiderman continuity. I guess the movies are based off the cartoon mostly and not the comic book.
I really hope Venom is in the next one. I'm almost positive it's not going to be just the GG. They wouldn't just rehash the first one. It would be boring. I heard the next one is going to be the last one too. It would be a shame though since there's so many things they could do with future movies.
I want Venom in the next one though. That was rock the house.
I liked the first one and this one pretty much equally. I almost fell asleep during part 2 though. (I had been up all night and right when I got in bed, my friends decided to go.) There was too much talking and not enough action. But unlike other movies, the non-aciton parts weren't extremely boring. (Like Kill Bill 2)
Oh, and remember the first thread about Spiderman way back when? When I was complaining about the blatant Dr. Pepper ad? Well this one had one that was even worse. I started laughing my ass off.
And I saw Stan Lee.
No Daredevil cameo this time either. Oh well. They probably would have edited out again. |

Im hoping the villain is Venom in part 3. Venom is just so cool, and how about this for a plot idead.
Story starts out with the intro of the Hob Goblin, then the whole Venom thing comes into play, and then for a portion of the movie Peter gets to be the Spider-Man-Symbiote, until he realizes the evil ait holds and fights the symbiote who whould know be using John Jameson in a climatic battle! |

Which is Vemon. When he's on the moon, an astroid hits and Vemom jumps off and enters that guy's body and brings out to worst memory that he has, which is MJ leaving him for Spider-Man, so he goes after Spider-Man.
That was only the alien thingy which entered the space shuttle which was on its way back to earth. They showed it at a Swedish TV channel. Or is this another story?

Awesome movie. Loved it. Better than the first. And I love the first!
I loved how Raimi put some references in there to past movies...like when Doc Ock's extra arms are to be surgically removed, things get ballistic, and one arm is gripped around a guy's neck or head, and he sees...a chainsaw! Picks it up and tries sawing off the arm...I love it...Evil Dead II. :O
And Doc Ock's new laboratory makes me think of Darkman, when he builds his new lab in an abandoned factory.

Oh, and no Batman trailer...anyone else saw it? I kinda figured it was a rumor, when I heard that they didn't have the trailer in time for Spider- Man. |

now that my computer is virus free(went through fixing yesterday)
i can tell you what i thought of the movie:
it was fucking amazing, and i take back what i said about raimi
he can do that, and make it that good, i think that the series is in good hands...
actually anya, its the lizard,
i didnt like how he left so many ideas open for a new villian

and somebody else(not telling, could ruin movie)
when harry looked in the mirror and saw his father, it was a hallucination, because his father always rejected him, and then took peter and treated him more like a son than his actual son. all harry wanted was for his father to be proud of him, and then when he was close to that goal, his father was taken from him, and he dosent feel that he is a man, and thats what the hallucination was basically saying, the heavy drinking helped him see his father too. the finding all his dads stuff was jsut pure chance

I haven't seen Spiderman 2 yet but the with new villian, Dr. Octopus, it has to be better. I mean like the Green Goblin barely has any powers but a machine and a suit. 
I've got to see it!

I heard that Vemom will be in the 3rd. And you saw Lizardman, right? Peter's teacher with the one arm. I mean, this movie left A LOT of things open for later on.
I liked how they had the opening credits show what happened in the last movie, instead of acting out or showing what happened, you know. |

Saw the movie last night and it was AWESOME! The fights were incredible, the only thing about the movie that freaked me out was the ending, which I can say for obvious reasons. Anyways besides that the door was left open for a sequel that could go in 2 directions or combine them for an extremly action packed and complicated sequel. Most of you wont know what Im saying, but for those of you who watched the movie and know about Spider youll probably know what I mean. |
