I should have previewed it before posting, but I fixed it. |

Layer 2 Smash Sprite 1: This Layer 2 smash sprite doesn't smash down as far as "Layer 2 Smash Sprite 2" does, and I can't remember if it moves Layer 2 down a little, and then pauses before smashing. I'll check when I get home. It also speeds up a lot as you progress through the level. (Like it does in Wendy's Castle)
Layer 2 Smash Sprite 2: This one is lot like the first one, but it goes down further, and I know for sure that this one moves Layer 2 down a little and then pauses, before it actually smashes.
Layer 2 Smash Sprite 3: This one is not like the others. It moves Layer 2 down without any hesitation, but it moves Layer 2 down slowly, and up really fast, this one would be perfect, if the speeds were switched.
That's better. Very good explanation. Acmlm, make the alternative HTML have more priority than the smileys by moving their transformation code in front of the smileys. |

Hmm yeah, I've also had problems with this. I'll try what you guys suggested.

Speed up layer 2, eh? Try to check how they did in Wendy's castle. (Wait... Maybe that's hard-coded? Nah.) |

MOve the sprite along the X axis... and then play around with it... you never sem to get set results |

actually, changing the sprite -should- work. been awhile since I've used LM, but is there possibly a sprite that turns off layer2 motion? If so, use that and then on the next "screen" start up a new layer2 sprite? Just a possibility... not sure why it doesn't work just going one layer 2 sprite to another unless you have two layer2 sprites on the same screen... then I can see why that'd not work. |

Well I finally got layer 2 to work, but there's still a problem. It's so slow! I want it to smash way fast without warning. Something like Layer 2 Smash 1, but without the whole move an inch and pause thing, and not waiting for Mario to stand under something. Isn't there some way to speed up those slow ones? Also is there some way to stop one of those sprites and make Layer 2 quit moving, or at least override them with another one? I tried just putting a different move sprite in a later screen, but it didn't work. |
