I played it from late may untill about mid august.
It was fun for a couple months.
BUT THEN IT GOT SO BORING THAT I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF TO PLAY.

I played on the Justice Server. Name was NEO JESUS.

Also, i started working ona hack. Just a texture swap hack. I called it CITY OF ZOMBIES. I was working ont h textures for NPCs so taht they were all undead. I even got as far as to make every zone look like Dark Astoria. it was pretty cool.
This is before i got the hands done. I never did finish up to do the legs, tho. Got too bored of the game. |

There are only the select few MMORPGs that you dont put down after 6 months atleast once. I have yet to find one. The one I would play would of been Planetside but im to lazy to buy it and my PC is a piece of junk.
Alot of guild members went to play this said it was decent for a week or two. But got to easy.
They've all said that WoW is the only fun PvE game they've ever played. And were all PVP mongers. So thats a big thing for us. As am I quite the PVP monkey myself. |

They actually do have subscription plans for whole years which saves you a bit of money. THing is, when you cancel before the year's over, you don't get refunded 
Which is why I'll NEVER subscribe for a full year to ANY game. It doesn't matter how much you enjoy an MMORPG. Chances are, you'll end up hating it/get bored of it long before the year is up. |

I haven't played for a few days, but the last time I checked, I still have Cymoro on Virtue at lvl. 5 and on Triumph at lvl. 8.

I just got it and joined on the Infinity server (sorry Cy I didn't read this thread first).
Unfortunately for me, my video card sucks (onboard), so I can't see any character textures, so I don't know what I look like. But my character names are NSNick, New Age Ninja, Vanilla lce, and Palpatine. That's an L in Vanilla Ice instead of a capital I, btw.
So Cy (and everyone else), are you playing still? What level/server? Any new characters?
Edit: And this bump is deserved. So say I. |

If i had the hardware I would be there, most of the damn MMORPG's i want to play dont let you use gamecards, which really pisses me off I mean how do they expect us extremist gaming teens to get a hold of a credit card, our parents lol like hell. I am geting a enw comp soon so i may end up playing this one day soon. |

Let me explain MMORPGs. They need money to keep up servers that usually have well over 10,000 people on them. Software sales aren't going to cut it. It's like a magazine. You keep paying to renew the subscription. They need the money for the paper and ink. See how it works?

look pretty good and i can play it. one problem stands out.
I DONT BUY GAMES THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY
now if the game was free after i easy payment of $40 you bet I would play it. But since these guys make you pay after you BUY the game, I just think that is high way robbery. |

I just got City of Heroes and a game card for 2 months. I think I'm set.
Anyway, it's been lots of fun so far. I have a few local friends into it so that we can talk about it, Tim Buckley of CtrlAltDel is playing it, Scott Kurtz of PVP i playing it, and Tycho of Penny-Arcade is playing it.
And it is good. So far, I've bveen to the Triumph server, and made a hero with the name of "Cymoro". He's 6'1", Blonde hair, goatee, and wears a buisiness suit.
...and he has a multi-purpose assault rifle that shoots unlimited bursts, slugs, and GRENADES.
So please play with me. Join Triumph and play with me.
