Uhm...Wily himself? Or actually it was one of those holo-Aliens that were made to look like him...

I'm not saying that they're hard but I think that all of them are annoying!
Each one of them gives me a headache after I defeat them!

those robots that come out from the pits really fast and float their way down. I forgot what they called but they are surely annoying...especially if two of them come out XD i forgot which stage that was from...

Yeah, I remember Wily in MM7. It was hard when he released all those...uh, energy balls?

Well, I DID beat him after a while but it was a REAL challenge and that was fun...

Hmm...the rabbits. I didn

I'm positive they were called Cutters.

Ironic since they were in Cut Man's stage among others. But they, they dropped those little 1000 point capsules often.

On the tangentially-related topic of cheap enemies: Those rabbits in MM2 (mostly in Wood Man's stage) should NOT take off that much energy from one frickin' CARROT.

But there is no more annoying, bitch-like enemy than those flying fuckers that just dive-bomb you in MM... I think someone mentioned them in the second post.

We only started calling it Metool a few years ago, right?

*remembers when it was dubbed Hard Hat* A *VERY* obvious name based on its shape, but geez... Some levels were just loaded with them back in the day.

The Giant Snakes in Snake Man's stage can be annoying if you mess up your jumping rhythm.

I wasn't sure reading this thread, until I was reminded of fucking Metool. Definitly the most annoying.. pops out of the hat to shoot shit at you. He can go to hell.

What's more annoying in Crash Man's stage than those floating cans is the damn bird that flies by and shoots eggs at you while climbing up the ladder. Totally screws you up.

You find Metool hard? OMG! He

You know what Wily should've done? Not put in magical appearing and disappearing stepping blocks overtop of spike pits...In fact, he should've just sat in his machine has Megaman dropped over a huge pit of spikes.

Yeah, all it takes is a little thought throughout the thing. Plus, once you die and return to the boss, the walls you already destroyed do not return.
As far as death goes, if you hit "start" multiple times as the bolts go for you, they don't hit you. Makes it easy to not think about multiple things at once.

As far as staying on platforms goes.. remember, in MM2, the dragon you gotta fight in Wily's place? You gotta jump through a bunch of small ass platforms before fighting him. That was irritating. Also the part in Heat Man's level with the blocks that disappear and reappear, and you gotta jump on a ton of them over a pool of lava.. it's a bitch without the proper powerup to skip through.

I don't consider that MM2 boss to be too hard though... at first he is because it's more of a puzzle than anything. Once you figure out the correct order, you'll beat it every time. Maybe using one Energy Tank in a worst-case scenario.

Jesus CHRIST, I forgot all about those damn things. Yeah, those were annoying as hell, because you had to jump on them PERFECTLY, or else you'd take damage and thus fall right through the thing to your death. ARRRRRGH.

Bah, they aren't hard. Those stupid flying platforms later on the stage are much worse. You know, since you can die at them.

I believe Dr. Wily put a low roof lined with spikes in the room where you fight him in MMVGB. Of course, his ground-crawling beams are insanely easy to avoid, so you'll make it without much trouble.

King in Rockman and Forte was an ass. You had to fight him what, 5 times in a row? With no energy tanks? Woo.

Then of course there's "The Wall" from MM2, which is just annoying due to the fact that he MUST be defeated with a certain weapon, which must be used at the right places, which must be reached with those item adaptors. Run out of weapon energy for one of the 3 or 4 required items, and you're screwed.

Mercury from MMVGB has a weak point he exposes for half a millisecond every other year or so, making him annoying too. Same with Armored Armadillo from MMX, but his attack hit and kill you easily if you don't have the right weapon. Mercury couldn't hit the side of a barn, so he's not that hard to beat with the blaster.. it just takes way too long.

And then there's always "stuff that knock/push/pull you in some direction and tend to be placed near spikes." Lovable. The GB MMs are full of them. The first NES game too. There are a bunch in Cut Man's level.

Yellow Devil

That thing has brought more gameovers on me than any other enemy.

The MM3 one wasn't too bad.

The original was a BITCH if you didn't use the pause trick with the elec beam.

In any event, I'd have to say those turrets from the original that open up, fire four different times from the top to the bottom of the screen, and close again.

This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
