its a high-quality jpg so yeah its a big file but does that really matter? for my pixel art though i use a nice freeware program called graphics gale. sometimes i even use photoshop but the grid on that sucks

Naw.. I wouldn't have the patience for MS Paint  I use Paint Shop Pro.

Y'know, Neko, I think I saw someone making a side scrolling version of the Wind Waker.. But.. The guy stopped working on it.. Unfortunately. Who knows, maybe I might do that someday when I start making games based on the SF.

I wasn't gonna deal with the sail at all And I didn't go with giving him a tusk... Just made it look like a mustache.. Though, I'll just go ahead and say that it's Jargon's face.. yeah.. it's the old man's face.  |

My sister was playing Wind waker when I saw this layout for the first time. I found that spooky as she was playing it for the first time in months...
I like how you made it looking like Wind waker was made for SNES. |

Yay.. I finally fixed the problems I had. Decided to go with an alt for Mint's dialogue... since.. Well.. It'd get too crowded with text there

It looks really good. After a long time of delaying it you finally got it out. I don't really care for windwaker, but this isn't windwaker and is very good in it's own right. Nice sprite editing? |

Finally. After two months I managed to finish this thing.  You may take a look at the layout, and say something like "This is two months? I would've expected better!"
You won't believe the amount of distractions I've had. Work, trips, IMs, games, etc. Now, I just kinda.. "spat" out a layout. I had already lost the Wind Waker taste in my mouth, but I didn't want to let all this sprite work go to waste..
Anyway.. Onto explaining stuff. Aside from the characters and text box, everything was made from scratch. Yes, even the boat The text box was from Four Swords, and all of the sprites were edited from the Secret of Mana heros (even the creampuff and bear at the top were edited from a SoM sprite )
The characters all around the layout are from a Wind Waker parody, the Zephyr Rouser.
At the top, we have Hikari (my character) and Teddy (Teddylot's character).
At the bottom, from left to right, we have Jargon/King of Red Lions (Moble Sprout's character), Brer (SomerZ's character), Mint (Adamant's character), JDavis (JDavis' character ), Farid (Nakase's character), and Ed (Melvin's character)
Ed wasn't in the actual story, but I thought it'd be a silly cameo. ;
Oh yeah, that's Hikari and Farid on my user picture, and Tingle's invading my little computer.
Edit: Argh.. I'm too tired and sleepy. I just realized that I forgot to put in the speech bubbles and text. Mint was supposed to be complaining about how the salt water is messing with her hair, and Farid was supposed to be yelling at Ed for stealing their bait. |
