Thanks guys! Just remember: this is only the first demo. It took a 3 months of production to even start to overhaul the SMB3 engine in Mario Adventure, and as you noticed, a lot of the good stuff was implemented late in the hack and wasn't utilized a much at all. Already, this hack has overhauled the original engine and there's SO much more to add to the hack (you guys don't even know how you'll get to the next world yet ). It may not outshine Mario Adventure yet, but give it a few more months and it'll put that crappy hack to shame

Yes, a saving feature would be good. Of course, I have a savestate with all 7 levels completed. It really shows promise.

The password is really easy to find by just reading it (nice idea anyways, DD and VN), this should be used more often, so people WILL read readme.txts; they have a purpose and already answer many questiona beforehand ... and now we're at the beginning and I don't want to repeat everything some posts above me
None the matter, as for the hack:

It is really nicely set up; the GFX are ass-kicking, like this animated water surface a la SMW; level design and really good extras. Onm the other Hand Mario Adventure was a bit nicer; although you used even more frames for animated question blocks and stuff
But nevertheless keep up the work and maybe (?) implement a save feature later

that's what I've said over and over, it blatantly tells you what the password is. I've had many foreigners figure out the password with no problems just by reading the readme. It's not a riddle, when you find it, it says "this is the password".

You need to know the password? First of all, look at the title of the patch. If that doesn't give you the hint, then read the readme.

That's been mentioned before, asdf.

Anyway, just get the coins in the beginning first. Wouldn't that make the most sense?

BUG: One time, I was on the Coin-Collecting level, and I had one coin left to collect (back near the start of the level), and when I went to collect it, the coin counter reset!

EXCELLENT demo, Dhark. A few bugs here and there, but I won't bother to mention them as they have already been mentioned.

The only problem is that there isn't enough time to sit back and admire the handiwork.

And you could lock him horizontally in that screen, like when you battle a boom-boom, to prevent other possible weirdness

Woohoo! Post #255! Time to jump over to a word instead of a byte... Hmm... Should I use Big or Little Endian?

OR give luigi a starman!

Can't you make the shells stop and spin on the spot?

but this isn't the only place this can be done.

Just do something with the door

Bug or not? This is how I did this, I took the red coin and rushed to the door and entered it, 3 times .
