Glastonbury's awesome. Moby's concert there was spectacular; I saw it on the DVD of 18: The B Sides. If you're epileptic don't watch it |

Well, I guess the reason I think Glastonbury seems like a great festival is because I'm in love with anything that seems remotely Britpop. Britpop may not be in anymore, but it's never died, as far as I'm concerned. You know Oasis is playing at Glastonbury this year, it's the band's 10 year anniversary. |

Nice to see that Glasto has a good reputation outside the UK I knew it's famous all over the world, but I've never encountered anyone talking about it
It was more my thing when Britpop was in... Blur, Oasis, Mansun, Pulp, Ocean Colour Scene, Supergrass, the list goes on...
I'm into a lot of metal now, so the equally famous Reading Festival is more my thing, musically. This year it's lame, so I have to wait another year and go to concerts instead (hotly tipping Rammstein for a European tour ) |

Anyone in Europe should get this month's issue of Q, along with the magazine (which among other things, has a great article on my favorite band ever, Oasis, and also a list of the Top 50 British albums ever), you get a CD called "Essential Glastonbury", a collection of the greatest Glastonbury gigs ever.
Speaking of Glastonbury, anyone going this year? Or Roskilde? There are loads of music festivals out there!
Me, I've never been to a Music Festival, but I'd love to go sometime. I think I'd prefer Glastonbury, although Roskilde seems cool, too. |
