True, I never thought of them being the same chords. I don't know much about types of chord in their genre. That shows they really want the money. Everyone is greedy  |

This one was modified too, although it's subtle enough that you apparently only notice when you listen to the channels individually.
And while there is such a thing as a "style of music", certain songs sounding similar to certain other songs, etc, those are just too close to chalk up to a mere "style of music". |

The kinda sad thing is that there was a Linkin Park one, featuring "Crawling" and "Numb". It wasn't as similar as this one, even after they changed the key of one of the songs (I think "Crawling") to match the other. This one's just hilarious in their laziness.  |

I'm sorry to bump a nearly 6 day old topic, but it's not a style of music if the same chord patterns, tempo, chorus patterns and percussion patterns are copies. Even Gospel music is more varied.
If I released a song that uses a C E F# chord pattern continously, and then released another song using the exact same CEF# chord pattern, that is copying.
It's not a style of music. It's balant copying. Remind you these are both singles, so that means they're raking in the dough. |

Nickleback is a decent group  . I've only heard their songs on the radio. I don't know if I'd actually buy the CD. Depends on how much it is and if it's on sale at Best Buy. I don't like spending 50 bucks on a CD at Tower or anything. |

Whoooaaa...finger off the trigger tailgunner Joe...I didn't say that. Nickelback is actually a decent group...but I was saying that it doesn't surprise me that the two songs sounds similar because it's a style of music that they go by. Wasn't dissing them at all. |
