Your right, they are cheap, and there will be plenty of them at whatever store you buy it at .

dont trade it to a game store, if you live in a farming community, you could write "sex box" on in, and then sell it to a confused teenager...

Exactly as I was thinking destroy the controller and then sell the gamecube to a local video game store run by old ppl so i might be able to fool them into thinking it works lmao. well only game that lets you use the second port for single player is SSBM and im hopelessly addicted to PSO and you cant use the 2nd port for it which is totally gay.

Yeah, Mad Katz have a reputation for producing spectacular crap.

And ANY unlicensed controller runs the risk of damaging your system.

Just take the damned controller and smash it to the hell from whence it came.

Clearly, Mad Katz are the utter embodiment of extra-terrestrial hatred on earth.

Ok well I guess this would go in here, some time ago id say maybe close to a year ago my brother bought a Mad Catz cubicon controller for his Gamecube why I really dont know but after using the controller for awhile the first control port seemed to go dead we called Nintendo support and they told us it would cost around $100 to fix which is roughly the price of a new GC, now 3-4 months later the first controller port started to work again I told him not too but he used the same mad catz controller and about 2 months later the port went dead again so games that need the first port to be used cannot be played such as PSO and etc... I believe the main cause was the controller being messed up I remember a nintendo rep saying something similar now im not quite sure what to do if it would be possible to fix it myself or just plain go out and buy a new one any suggestions? Im really not particulary adept to console hardware but I really dont wanna go spend any money.
