He lived a good life I was watching a few things on what he did. Ray Charles was a good man.

He will be missed, but his music will always live on and is a legand among the stars.

I just heard about this a couple hours ago. He was always such a familiar face, that I guess many of us took him for granted.

If anything good can come out of this tragedy, maybe his death will give people a chance to remember his art again.

yeah, this is a sad day in the music world. He did a lot despite being blind.

here is a lighter note: I learned about his passing by watching ESPN

I heard, and it was kind of upsetting hear... but they all have to go some time. He will still be remembered as a great musician, who spanned all kinds of music... jazz, soul, R&B, blues... Very influential.

It's a shame. He was a great musician. But, well, he was old, so I guess it had to come. May he rest in peace. Who knows? Maybe he's gone on to a place where his eyes can function.

....has passed away at the age of 73. What a shock. Even though he was blind, he had lived a long and full life.
