whoops...too many 'III' together XD

anyways--if you are adamant about using AdriPSX, I would think that game would have memory card support. I think you just have to tinker around with it--did you try that?

Actually it's FF8 -- same principles though. When I reach a save point and try to save, the game says that there's no memory card inserted.

Haven't tried with ePSXe though, and will do that next.

How about you try using ePSXe and playing FF7 until you find a save point? By default, ePSXe creates a 128KB file that is a memory card. you can do that or have you tried to use a save point in FF7 while you play it using AdriPSX?

I've always wanted to see the FFVIII debug stuff, and evidently I need to create a "real" save (not a save state) and load it with the appropriate Action Replay codes in order to do it. But my AdriPSX doesn't seem to be able to make a virtual memory card. How do I do it?
