Another reason is that some objects sometimes look wrong in subspace if they aren't fully black, as I realized before with Strange Mario Bros 2 ... but adding just a little color doesn't hurt too much, just keep it dark or make it all fit together |

I always thought the underground stages could have used a little more color in that game.
But leave "Sub-Space" intact! |

So far, I've changed the most common colors for enemies (Shy Guys, Beezo, Snifit, etc). On the ice worlds, it looks like Panser is spitting a snowflake rather than fire. I'm planning to change the level colors next. |

As long as it looks good, I don't see why not I changed the palettes for nearly everything in Strange Mario Bros 2, and it all fits together ... |

Well, yes, as long as you actually change enough stuff to make it look like a hack, and not just modify 1-5 little things and call it one. |

And I'm thinking of changing the palettes of some of the characters to fit the level theme. Is that a good idea? |
