Personally I think that Hyatt is so cool! She just bleeds on command...or at random! It's like, her WEAPON! I think that every anime needs one of those characters in it *sigh* but Excel is also funny in how inanimate objects always rise above her in ACROSS ^^; |

Excell Saga in both manga and anime forms (both are rather different in tone) are kick ass series that are instant classics. the problem most people here seem to have is that they didn't watch all of it and didn't quite comprehend all of it. don't mock this kickass series! I swear I'll get the Cartoon Mallet of Justice! I will!

"Puni Puni Poemi is a spin-off series after Excel Saga. Same style, same wackiness. The story revolves around Poemi, the daughter of Nabeshin (this wacky character from Excel Saga gets married with Yamamusume Kumi-Kumi and there comes Poemi). As the real name of Nabeshin is Shinichi Watanabe, of course naturally, Poemi's full name is Poemi Watanabe."
Another funny thing worth noting is that Watanabe Shinichi is actually a real living guy, one of the men working on Excel Saga. (He does sorta have the same hair as Nabeshin too). |

I've seen two episodes, but I'm not sure there was more or not...
It was one of my friends who downloaded it to show at the Anime Society I help run at University. I can see why it'd be out of line, it's like Excel on acid  |

It's sort of like how an auctioneer learns how to speak fast...it's a talent.
I think that there was only one ep. where it went 'out of line' and probably wouldn't be suited for younger audiences...and I think it was the very last one. |

Batshit insane. It's so insane that it makes it kinda difficult to watch. It's good, it's funny, but it's not my favroite.
By the way, has anyone seen Puni Puni Poemi? It's the only anime potentially MORE insane than Excel Saga. |

It's not crazy as much as it is shitty, I really can't get over how unsatisfied I was after the first ep. It was just plain weird and bad. Excel Saga is weird and fun. |

Ive never seen it but I hear its as crazy as FLCL and if thats the case then Excel Saga is definatly for me. |
