I think one of my favorite things is that the AI has been uber tweaked on the harder difficulties...the AI is more of a pain in my ass than in the other ones.

The torture scene is an ass, but that's the only problem you'll have with the controls.

Added stuff? Um.. you get the 300 extra VR stages for free. And as in most PC ports, if there's anything to be unlocked, it already is.

I honestly like this game. I been playing it like crazy after work. I am close to the end already. Just have to input the PAL card and I can fight Metal Geay Rex.

I love the new graphics and the MGS2 gameplay. Like all the magazine I have read say, it's a lot easier cause of the First Person that has been added. I keep forgetting about somethings and have died a few times of pure stupidity. I have to admit I love the update and been enjoying it immensly. I was just remembering how cool I thought it looked when I played it on the PS1.

I have it on the PC and played it only once. I guess I am glad I waited.

Does the PC version have any exclusive stuff or is it just pretty much a direct port of the PSX one?

I recently played some of this game at a friends. Ah the memories of Psycho Mantis.

They kinda ruined him in the PC version. He no longer has his memory card reading ability (obviously), and to defeat him, you simpy point your gun at him and shoot. Nothing special.

But eh, they couldn't really port his quirks anyway.

It's a pretty cool game. My buddy has it. As much as I love cutscenes (Xenosaga being awesome for this)...I found myself wretching at some of the dialogue in MGS: TS

I mean yeah, it mostly is a graphical update, but there is more to it than that.

I really really like it.

Wait, what? Like it? Yeah I liked that video too. Too bad you don't have the game yet...

once i get some money, i'm ganna buy this. cause i enjoyed playing the demo of the second one while i still had a PS2, and the theme song is awesome.
and because i've never played the first one, so this is my chance.

I've never played the original Metal Gear Solid so this is great for me. I loved the gameplay in MGS Sons of Liberty and I also liked the unusual plot....

Sounds like a porno.

Actually, it does sound like a promising MGS game that I can PLAY ON A SYSTEM THAT I OWN.

Added gameplay elements from MGS Sons of Liberty also.

I have beaten the original countless times, but I still want this game nonetheless.

I heard the FPS mode ruins the battle with Ocelot though...

I might rent it or something, but after what I've seen, this isn't much more thn a graphic update with a few added quirks, like the ability to hide corpses in lockers.

Doesn't look like it's worth it if you already have the original.

Alrighty, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is awesome...simply put.

I would say even if you have beaten the original 50 times to go ahead and get or at least rent TTS....

Though they could cool it with the Matrix effects

So yeah, if you've played it, what are your thoughts?
