Also, try the castle theme. It would fit extremely well, possibly. |

I'm putting 1 new screenshot in the main post. Yeah, only one...but a demo could possibly be released by the end of the week. YAY!
And just in case this sounds weird, the Chucklehuck Woods levels have the ghost house music. They seemed the most fit for really dark levels like that, and the normal level music certainly wouldn't fit that theme.
The new screenshot is also of CH Woods. |

I hope to play the demo soon
(Yea, it's about time I also changed my layout, I really think it turned out good ) |

Well, I have 8 more levels to finish until world 3 is complete. Oh, and the background in the castle is from Kirby's Dream Land. I just colored it.
(Heh, bet you weren't expecting a sudden new layout!) |

Well now I feel like a... ... clown.
Lookin' great! Though I'm still not convinced about that crazy background, but hey! So does this mean you're about to release a demo?

I've uploaded some new screens, which should be in the main post within the next few seconds.
*EDIT* Ready to go! What do you think? |

The blending effect is just something that can be enabled in the emulator. It's not actually part of the game. |

I sure hope the level design in this hack is as good as the GFX!! If it is then I wanna play it right now!
I'd say well done about the GFX, but I din't really know how much is done by you, but I love the kind of blurry effect (can't think of a better word), so well done indeed! |

Yeah... the background on the third screen is kind of odd, but otherwise it's good, especially the overworld. |

Not bad. But the third screenshot looks screwy. So do filters. |

Yeah, that may be it. Oh, and they *are* the same shade as the outline, so...
Anyway. You need to fix sections of it. See where you have the grass ending suddenly? You need a separate block for it curving around to the end... It looks terrible as-is. |

Am I the only one who had no trouble finding the feet?
Seriously, I can see where there would be confusion, but it's not like they're exactly the same shade of green. Then again, I've never played Superstar Saga, which may have actually worked to my advantage (Since I saw what I thought should have been feet, without knowing exactly what they looked like). |

Ah, I see them now. I was looking for them in the second shot, where they're in a position where it looks like they're just clearly not there. |

Yes, I see the feet now too, they are just WAY to similar a green color compared to the rest of the baddie. Black feet make for a black shoe type of look, and would look rather nice on him. |
