CT for me... How many other games do you get to have an old English-speaking frog in your party? Time traveling was fun, too...

Clockworkz: FFIII you're talking about is most likely FFVI. They changed the numbers to make FF1, IV, and VI seem like a coherent sequence.

I have to say...... none of those choices. FFIII and SMRPG:LotSS owns all of them.

Bahamut Lagoon at least has a leveling system. I'd say that makes it closer to an RPG than LttP, which is on that list.

Bahamut Lagoon was a strategy game, though.

Admittedly, Earthbound was good... I just don't think you'd say that if you went and played Chrono Trigger. Heck, you could go download it right now...

Well, its quite easy not to play a game... you dont play it I still would say earthbound, just because of its perks.

Of course Chrono Trigger.

It has an absorbing story, perfect music, excellent graphics, etc.

Of those of the poll, CT is the best.

What he said. KATW, how could you have not played CT? It's 1337 ;-;

I've completed that game with a friend of mine, we played the ROM, everyday I went over to his place to play it, we even played it online with ZSNES.

Considering I havent even played half the things up there, Im going with SMRPG or Earthbound. SMRPG is good because... its Mario () and Earthbound just rocked with the battle system and plot, plus it was hilarious" Trout flavored yogurt"

Secret of Mana. It also wins the Soon To Official Ed's Favourite Game Award.

EarthBound rocked as well. "Don't get to close to me! I just farted! Heh heh, sorry."

C'mon, tell me you didn't laugh at that part

Mine would have to be Seiken Densetsu 3 otherwise known as Secret of Mana 2. It is simply the most amazing looking game of the SNES lifetime...

Illusion of Gaia isn't an RPG. Hell, a lot of those choices aren't.

Anyway, Final Fantasy VI. Hands down.

I mean, of all the Snes RPG's it had the best characters, plot, and gameplay. I don't think it's physically possible to make a greater RPG for the Snes than VI. It just can't be done.

Although V gets mad props soley for the job system.

CT has the best strack of all, the most catchy plot and i loved the battle system although it is a bit hard to get used to at the starting.
The boss battle song reminds me of the starting of song 'tarkus', by emerson, lake & palmer, a prog rock trio.

Anyway CT is the best, it is the most fun all too

Yes, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI are two of my favorite games. But I also like Tales of Phantasia and Star Ocean. The battle system is cool, and the stories are also pretty good, which also use the time concept like CT does some.
