Well, with a vote of 100% for the name change, I think it's good to say that the forum should change name. Maybe it will influence more members into making games and posting about them. |

Well ... we're not the board staff, since this is an official suggestion; and this is no single RPG Maker/general RPG editor or general game creation forum. Other than else the forum had a considerably low activity level 
Most people publish their RPGs on special pages like http://www.rpg2knet.com, gaminggroundzero and such ... Acmlm's Board is predistined for ROM hackers, but not for RM2k/2k3 usually. Nevertheless the name change would fit here |

Yes of course, I always found thoose game creators more fun.
I should go an try game maker, I have klick and play. But it's so simple that you can mostly do arcade games.
It will make this forum more active. It still covers RPG makers. |

I know quite some other games which you can make with RM2k and others; having jump and runs or even an announced Beat 'Em Up in SNES quality are nice
As for the forum name, I agree too. Since there are various other tools out here, what argument should someone have against the presentation of screens and releases of demos of non-RPGs too  ? |

Change the name. RPG program scripts allow for many other kinda genres! And most games are programmed in some other script anyway! Let's go for it! We can have more games to play then |

I'm with you 100%. I had mentioned that it could be renamed to the "Game Creation Centre" once at the old board in the staff forum in some thread. Besides, alot of the utilities used to make RPGs can also make games of other types. |

This is all just based on my personal opinion, you don't have to think anything of it if you do not wish... I just want to see how many people agree.
I have a passion for making games. Right now, I make simple PC games... but down the line, my career path will lead me to the professional scene. I think it would be great to have a forum concerning not only the design of Rpg games, but of all types of games! Why be so specific when by changing this forum, we can broaden the topic and make for more activity! I think this board should be, rather than Rpg Creation Centre, Game Creation Centre! It definetly seems to make more sense to me, and it's a forum that I know I would really like to be a part of. Who's with me? |
