Since I play a big creature deck this may seem like a contradiction, but more often than not I find myself floundering for mana and creatures as my foe pounds into me, so I have to nuke to slow things down.

Welcome to my world. Try basing a deck around Menmarch turning your things into artifacts and then putting Darksteel Forge out and *then* nuking everything. Assuming you can find proper mana acceleration, you will make your opponent cry. Literally break down in tears.

Try combining Memnarch and Forge with Feedback Bolt. Despite the high cost of Feedback bolt, hitting someone with a ton of damage like that is worth it.

Cy: Nice. I have a deck that can get an infinite combo second turn, but that never happens. And a few of my decks can get third turn kills, but that never happens either.

Thus far I have yet to defeat Valcion. My old nomad/control deck whipped him though.

Nick: My friend has a Worldgorger Dragon/Animate Dead deck. Using that, and other cards with "Comes into play" abilities, he can deck the hell out of you.

Does anybody have any first-turn kill decks?

I currently have 9 decks made.
1. Modified Ragaver Affinity - I played this deck in the Western Canada Regionals where I got 28th place.
2. Type 1 Underworld Dreams
3. Basic Burn
4. Very much modified Tooth & Nail/Mirari's Wake
5. Charge Counter Deck (This is a very defensive deck, and works quite well)
6. Black Reanimator deck
7. Aggressive Elf Deck
8. White Control (I just love Orim's Chant)
9. 5 Colored deck that runs off alot of Fifth Dawn cards

I have two decks. I'll toss in a list of the good cards in each deck when I get the cards back from my friend's house.

A White/Black Life Gain/Drain deck.

A Green Beast Deck.

It was a very long time since I played, I still pick up my olds decks and work on them from time to time though.
I have a sliver and a black zombie deck

Time to pull out Photoshop.

I use a very good Black-red machinegun Braids deck. Combine her with Oversold Cemetary, a Greater Harvester, and a few Ravenous rats, and you've got a great control deck.

Anyway, I play a mean fuck-up-shit Artifact/Enchantment Red/Black/Green deck. First I get Teferi's Puzzle Box out, then I get Grip of Chaos out, and then I play Chain of Acid and destroy a noncreature permanent at random, selected from EVERY PERMANENT ON THE BOARD. Mirari's Wake, Insurrection, Vulshok Battlemaster, Risky Move, Planar Chaos, Confusion in the Ranks, Lethal Vapors... All sorts of neat shit.

I played back in the old school days. And all I know is this:

Baron Singer > You

Blue deck > Any other color deck.

'Nuff said.

I haven't played Magic in a loong time, but I still have my decks at home somewhere. I'll probably get back into it over the summer. I have, among others, a Sneak Attack deck and a Griffin Canyon deck.

All I know is the City of Solitude's actually pretty valuable. I've got a price list around somewhere, but that's about how much they added up to.

I have my good old 5 colored deck. I use Legacy Weapon to remove from the game everything my oppenant plays. I also had the old but still good combo "Pariath + Invioability".

I play M:TG, but not enough. There isn't very many people in my town and there is no hobby shop in my town. My deck that I use is a white deck that keeps tapping the heck out of the enemy, then using cards like Shackles and Pacifism.

5th Dawn, coming out in June 4th?

I've never played, but I have a deck.

Wanna see?

I'm looking to sell it... $30 gets you the whole thing. Phil, you still interested?

(As to how I came to inherit this collection: Family friend. Haven't touched them, except to see which ones we had.)
