Too true! *isn't british* It wouldn't make sense at all if they were, say, American. And their acting isn't what you'd call great, but I'm STILL gonna see the movie. Won't buy it on DVD though, it just doesn't look good enough to buy? Unless the next movies (5 and that) are good and I wanan buy the whole set.. I have a thing for having complete sets even If i don't like one in the series.

Man, I don't remember what happens in POA anymore, it's been a few years since I've read it

*doesn't want to read any of the spoilers*

I can't wait to see the latest movie in the series. The trailer itself is a freaking tease, to say the least. June can't come soon enough.

I think they say its darker because Harry thinks he tough and some guy get punched in the throat or something.

Matured? Scary and Dark? I laugh at you.

The only person to watch out for is Gary Oldman as Sirius. He is just one of the coolest actors out there.

A week ago, I had seeen absolutely nothing about Prisoner of Azkaban, and then the next week I've seen about 5 different trailers

I'm too stingy to go and see it, and I may not even buy it on DVD, I'll wait and see it on TV. Actually, fuck it, I ain't waiting a year, I'll get the DVD, that'll cut down on the wait considerably.

It's true that Daniel, Emma and Rupert are a laugh, but other actors like Maggie (who plays McGonagall) and Richard (who plays Dumbledore) are good actors as they have had experience.
I didn't like how they made it that only British or European actors/people could be in the Harry Potter movies, as their is alot of talent out their from other countries. Well they had to bend the rules for POA as poor Richard (who plays Dumbledore) died and they got the only actor that would fit his shoes, the guy off Lord of the Rings who plays Gangdolf.

The people in the Harry Potter movies are seriously the worst actors I have ever seen. I don't think I've laughed as much AT actors before as I've done with the Harry Potter movies.

Hm.

I'm not totally psyched to see this, but I most likely will watch it...sooner or later...

But they need to make these movies quicker, by the 5th movie, the kid will be in his 20's! [/exageration]

That's wrong! They should try and make Goblet of Fire into two movies, their going to leave heaps out Their is no-way they can make Order of the Phoenix book into one movie as it's too big, too many things happen in the book.
I think they try and rush the movies now, Lord of the Rings could have been heaps better if they planned it more and actually made 6 films, like the original books.

I'm not too psyched about the movie, but I am planning on watching it with my friends. Personally, the trailor was a bit iffy for me. It was probably just my acute senses, but I couldn't take any of the actors seriously when they tried to be serious. (i.e. Hermione punching Malfoy, Harry on Sirius Black.) Maybe it's just because they're just tiny clips. *shrugs*

Uncle Elmo: They were originally planning on doing Book Four in two volumes, but then, I guess, they were able to cut enough of the original story out in order to make it fit a la Lord of the Rings.

Umm... Dsniel's been signed up for GoF (Book/Movie 4), but then the contracts run out, it's up to WB to renew all of them, put it this way, book 6 hasn't been writeen and SOME poor director has to figure out how the hell to film Book 5, perhaps they'll be 2 volumes, Kill Bill stylee...

Harry potter in... KILL VOLDEMORT"!

When it was first mentioned that Daniel was not doing the fourth movie, they decided that Emma and Rupert will not be doing them either as if one character was changed it might be confusing. But they apparently talked it over and Emma and Rupert are still doing the rest of the movies ( - Daniel). Which I think is bloody sensible of Emma and Rupert
So I hope that answered your question Rin

The third HP book I think was the best, and I reckon that POA is going to be heaps good, as yes its darker and more mature

Prisoner of Azkaban is always one of my favourites, because it was the first harry potter book I read (friend lent it to me, then i read the first ones..). Anyway, if you read the books you know what happens. Can't wait to see the movie. And they have matured, which is good, and since POA is a darker book, the movie is too. The other ones sucked coz they were kiddy.. And I wasn't surprised that Danielle Radcliffe isn't continuing after this one. I hope they find a good replacement.. Rupert grint is the PERFECT Ron though. Is he getting replaced/quitting/?

Harry Potter is awesome. There isn't anything else that needs to be said.

I am seeing this, asap.

Also JK Rowling's site is pretty good about dispelling rumors.

why did you use a spoilertag for that?
anyone who sees a trailer on tv can know that

I wouldn't mind seeing the movie in theater. That's saing a lot since I generally don't waste money on things like that.

But after those 7 movies what then? He has to live on afterwards and he wants to be taken seriously as an actor, he'#s also aging faster than the role demands.
